Hello,
Noob here so be kind
I recently got a X-Lite Pro and so far so good, it seems super awesome!
The only problem/annoyance I have with it is that there is an extremely high pitch whine when I plug in the usb cable with the radio turned on (To use as a USB controller for sim software).
It happens in 2 conditions:
- Radio is on and USB is plugged in
- USB is plugged in and power button is held (Does not turn on the radio, but noise happens until I let go of the button)
Has anyone else had this?
Is my unit defective?
Will it soon explode?
Thanks for the info,
troyle

Do you still hear the whine if the volume is turned right down?

The USB charge circuit can make a hiss depending on what it's connected to...
Re: X-Lite Pro High pitch noise when plugged in
Thanks for the responses.
@MikeB, the hiss does not change based on volume.
@Kilrah, it seems you are correct, the noise changes in pitch based on what USB connection I am using. If I plug direct into the IO of my PC, the noise goes away!
Still is quite annoying though :/
Thanks again,
Troyle
