EEProm overflow

er9x is the best known firmware. It has a superb range of features and is well supported by the community. Well worth trying out.

I have loaded the voice test version of Er9x

I have set up 7 models that leave me 675 bytes free in the EEprom.
When I copy one model that uses up 380 bytes there are still 285 bytes free and everything seems to be ok.
But any modification in one of the two 380 byte models gives an 'EEProm overflow' alert and 0 bytes free.

I assume, that before/when writing the EEProm it creates a full duplicate of the model and that does no more fit into the EEProm.

That would mean, you must leave at least that many bytes of EEProm free as the model you are modifying is great? (in other words, to modify a model that uses 380 bytes, you must have at least 380 bytes free EEprom before you can modify anything)

It is so from my observations and discussions with Bertrand, yes.
380 bytes, that must be a complicated model!

Yes indeed,
aileron, flaps, rudder, throttle and three flight phases.
Needs 29 mixes

Yes, as I understand to EEPROM operation, when saving a model a new copy is saved, then the original is removed.
