I think I should have also done that on my radios Mike.. I can still swap the connections I guess. Having PPM 1 on the external module, doesn't mean I will have to connect it to COM1. It is just the feeling that it has to be done that way

Just finished mine
Re: 9Xtreme Add 2nd Internal XJT Mod
Sorry for a follow-up questions, now that my XJT modules is inside the case, is that possible to flash it from the maintenance menu like on Taranis?
Taranis allows flashing both internal and external sport device, while 9xtreme seems to only allow flashing the external one.

Re: 9Xtreme Add 2nd Internal XJT Mod
I'll need to add that option in. It will assume you have connected the SPort signal to COM 1 (same as bottom pin of the external connector, as done in the Taranis). The only difference will be turning the internal module power on instead of the external module power.

Yep, I've connected it to COM1 just like the Taranis, you can actually see on my photo that I have a jumper wire running from Pin5 on the XJT to Pin5 on the JR module bay.
Thank you Mike!

Re: 9Xtreme Add 2nd Internal XJT Mod
I've posted r221"e6" test version. For the 9Xtreme, this includes the option to update an internal XJT, although I haven't tested it.

Re: 9Xtreme Add 2nd Internal XJT Mod
Just tried it, seems to work as expected, though I don't have an external module connected at the moment and not sure they don't interfere with each other
Thanks for the great job Mike!
P.S. My Bootloader is at v1.7, should I update it?
P.P.S. Just realized that I could flash my radio by placing a file onto SD-card, and flash bootloader from the same file

Re: 9Xtreme Add 2nd Internal XJT Mod
After not using the radio during the winter I've found my internal XJT dead
No lights come online, no beeps, no signs of life. No idea what happened, it gets vbat power and RF frontend runs hot, but doesn't respond to anything
Turned out to be a bad wrapping wire for the daugther board (DIP-switches + LED + bind button) connection, change for silicone
