Open TX Companion on MaBook air
Open TX Companion on MaBook air
Has any one uploaded companion9x on to a McBook air?
I know there is a link to down load it on companion site.
When you try to do this download it well not download because you can only download to a McBook air or any apple computer from a apple app.
There is no apple app to down load it

For me that is a very good reason for never buying apple stuff. Don't want it even if given free to me. But that's me of course..Malc wrote: When you try to do this download it well not download because you can only download to a McBook air or any apple computer from a apple app.

Re: Companion9x on McBook air
Of course you can download and use OpenTX Companion (companion9x was deprecated 4 years ago) on a Mac.
You can run anything on a Mac as long as you choose the right setting to allow all apps.

Re: Companion9x on McBook air
MacOS will pop up a warning and not allow you to run any unsigned apps to protect you from the malwares.
You'll need to go through a procedure to circumvent the security warning.
Try Googling.

Re: Companion9x on McBook air
When I open companion on my McBook air there are no models visible .The only way I can get the models that are on my Taranis to appear is to connect my Taranis to my Mac are then read the models from my radio, but when I try to save the models to Companion I get a massage telling that the file is read only.
Re: Companion9x on McBook air
I am OpenTX Companion Firmware version 2.1.9
And my McBook air is on version masOS10.12.6.

Re: Companion9x on McBook air
Problem overcome ,I have now got the models that are in my Taranis saved to my McBook air ,and they appear in Companion but I do not have any way of knowing how I managed to do this?
Re: Companion9x on McBook air
I have two McBook Air laptops ,I have dowloaded Companion 9x to both the icons Check for Updates & About (icons) are missing from the McBook Air that I downloaded Companion 9x second. Is this correct?
Re: Companion9x on McBook air
As said several times already "companion9x" is a 4 year old discontinued program that has no use nowadays.

Re: Companion9x on McBook air
To avoid continuing confusion, why don’t you change the title of this thread to the correct “OpenTX Companion on MacBook Air”.
Re: Open TX
I have changed thread to 'Open TX'
