4 way menu navigation keypad

Did a brief search but didn't see this.

Has anyone considered if the 4 way navigation pad could be retasked to control flight funtions such a moving a camera gimbal?

I apologize as I am not familiar with the hardware or firmware yet as I just received my radio and am considering how I'd like to move my camera gimbal.
