Radiomaster TX16S Bricked

Post by sypher »

Hi Guys,

Like a doofus, I somehow managed to brick my TX16S while updating to the newest version of OpenTX. At the moment, I cannot even get it into bootloader mode by holding T1-T4-Pwr. Does anyone know what I might need to do to get my new radio back up and running?

Thanks,

Raise a support call with RadioMaster. They are very responsive. You are going to have to put the radio into DFU mode. Download and install Zadig. This will install the relevant drivers. Then you should be able to get to the radio even switched off. But as I say open a support case.

the same as what happened to me, when updating opentx 2.3.13 ... immediately couldn't turn back on after the radio was turned off ... i've followed joshua bardwell still can't ... can only go to dfu mode?
I flash with dfu mode it works but the radio still won't turn on or enter the bootloader...I really hope for help..

Are you sure you're using the firmware for the correct radio?

yes it's the correct firmware, it's weird before there was nothing during updating opentx to 2.3.11

There have been 5000+ downloads of 2.3.13 for TX16S so if there was a systematic issue we'd likely know about it.

Probably either improper flashing or faulty hardware.
