Head Tracking Setup not working

Post by PapaEcho »

I have a FrSky Horus X10S Express with OpenTx 2.3.11 and Skyzone SKY04X goggles. These goggles have built-in head tracking.

I want to use my switch A for three modes of head tracking:
1. Switch A up: my camera is going to a fixed position. This is working.
2. Switch A middle: I use a slider to control the camera. It's working.
3. Switch A down: I want to use the head tracking from the goggles. This is NOT working.

In the SKY04X goggles I have set head tracking on and PPM channels 5-6. The connection via cable is working.
In my radio I have made the following settings:
In Model Setup I have set Trainer Mode to Master/Jack

In Inputs I have an input 9 with three lines:
Line 1 is for the fixed position and line 2 is for the slider (both are working).
Line 3 is for head tracking and has the following settings:
Source: T6
Switch: ---

In Mixer I have nothing special.

In Special Functions I have an SF2:
Switch A down, Trainer Chans and activated.

In the Monitor everything is working, except if I set switch A down. I see the channels 5 and 6 moving with the goggles, although my output should be on channel 9. But also all other channels are affected. Ch 1-4 are on 4%, and Ch 17-32 are jumping all over the place.

What is wrong with my system?

T6 is trim 6, you want TR6.
You do NOT want a Trainer special function, with the one you have all channels are taken from the head tracker which is why everything does a mess.
The outputs are determined by the mixer, the order of inputs is meaningless. So to have something output on CH9 you need it on CH9 in the mixer.
