Taranis Q X7 version 2.3 not responding with old models

Hey guys. I recently updated to version 2.3 on my qx7 in order to run a R9M module. That all worked out fine except for one big thing. Now all my other existing models which were bound in d8 no longer respond. I tried to re-bind and that didn't work either. I noticed in the taranis menu it has something new next to d8 and d16 called xjt. Can anyone make any suggestions because I'm gonna pull my hair out here.
