Hi,I read few other threads but could not fix this so far.
I bound my S8R with a Taranis X7. Binds is successful because I can run the motor w the throttle.
The issue is that no other servos are responding.
I have mixes set up. I tested the model setup using another receiver and with that it works.
My first clue: I also flashed the receiver firmware that I downloaded from frsky-rc.com, (using the transmitter and a cable). Is it possible, guys that it is some sort of version incompatibility? This page (https://www.frsky-rc.com/s8r/), firmware download session says 'not compatible with v2.x.x' ... I don't understand what is this version number related to. If it is for the Transmitter, that might be the issue cause that is on 2.2.2 - but which version should I downgrade to?
Thanks indeed for the help!

Sounds like you haven't performed the "self check". This includes setting the servo travel limits in the Rx, so if you don't do that, the limits are set as "no movement".

Thank you Mike! I think I have those, though I'm not 100% sure. Could you please take a look? I googled "self check" and it drove me to the Outputs page under the model setup - is that what you were referring to?

No, the "self check" sets the servo limits in the Rx, so the Rx "knows" the limit to use when it is driving the servos.
The manual that came with the Rx describes the "self check" procedure you need to do.

Check out the "How To Part 2" of this documentation. It explains in detail how to set up the S6R/S8R:
