rpm display counts in reverse

Post by edg1 »

i am using a radiomastertx16s transmitter, DSMX receiver (AR8010t) and a brushless motor rpm sensor (SPMA9558) in a 600 size helicopter. Everything works good (binds ok flies ok) except for the rpm display count. It counts down as the actual rpm increases. Is the problem with the receiver, the sensor, the transmitter, or the opentx software? Where do I start? Is this a fixable problem? Help!!

You should try the multiprotocol module thread.

Thanks I will give it a try. Is it possible for the receiver to bind but not right freq air to surface?

No. Probably an error in handling of that particular sensor.

None of the above things corrected the problem. The rpm reading works accurately when binding to the dx6e transmitter however when binding to the radiomaster tx16s everything works accurately EXCEPT the rpm reading. To me it indicates a glitch in the Multiprotocol Module hardware or software. Is there someone that can prove me right or wrong.

I told you to ask there since that's where the people who use/know such combinations might be able to answer.
