Hi all,
has anyone already used an old 35/40MHz JR-Module with a modern OpenTX-Capable radio like the Jumper T12, etc.?
The Jumper T12 does not provide the required 6V to the old module, only the Vmain, which is the not stabilized (doubled?) battery voltage. But that should not be the problem.
Any hints?
Wilhelm
Using 40/35MHz module possible?
Re: Using 40/35MHz module possible?
Some modules require the 6V, some don't.
You also need to do something about the antenna.

Re: Using 40/35MHz module possible?
Well, I have the Graupner 4057, an that requires it definitely - no HF signal, if not provided.
The other issue is the antenna-signal, that is on the first pin (or last depending on view direction). This has to be disconnected from the tray pins to not disturb the radio itself.
But despite these two things I don't see any massive problems.
The background of this all is to use an OpenTX radio for submarine models.

Just a quick summary: adding an 6V LDO and reconnecting the antenna it just works.
