I still hav a small surface mount resistor in place as per RCModelreviews lion 7.4 volt mod. I am now on er9x and found a life 3s battery to be better. Can any damege occur if I leave the voltage sensor fooling resistor in place until I open the radio again?

I think you just need to recalibrate the voltage reading and the alarm setting for now since you have er9x.
