What is the first column in the telemetry simulator?

As the thread title says : What is the first column in the telemetry simulator?

I've tried changing the value while Discover new sensors is activated, but I either get no effect or "sensor lost"

The sensor's physical ID on the sport bus.

If you change the way you did then the currently known sensor is lost and a new one with the new ID is discovered.

Does that mean that sensors with the same ID are considered to be one device ?

Yes there can only be one device that has a given physical ID on the bus
