Adafruit BME280 I2C for meteorological data

Post by patB »

Hi,

Is it feasible to use a frsky X7S to download telemetry from the Adafruit BME280 I2C? My idea is have an airborne weather station recording temperature, humidity and pressure lofted on a kite and have the data sent down to the transmitter. I have made at stab at it with the openXsensor, but have not been able to make it work.

Thanks

PatB

Should be able to use just a transmitter module and a bound receiver if you want to save money. Just need to catch the data on the s.port socket.
The receiver goes aloft.
