DIY bluetooth adns3060 mouse

Post by interestingfellow »

I'm looking for a simple bluetooth chip to interface to an adns3060 optical sensor. I want to be able to just wire one to the other, apply power, and have it work (without extra circuitry), or as simply as possible.

Does anyone know of such a chip, or how I go about finding one?

And, to be specific, I want to interface a blackberry trackpad (not *trackball*) to a BT chip to make a super small mouse device, and the trackpad is essentially the same as the 3060 optical sensor as far as i/o, etc. There are arduino.cc posts that I have read (and participated in ;) ) as I had origionally intended to use the trackpad>arduino>hco05 but had learned there exists chips that will handle the trackpad processing internally as well as the bt link. Those threads have all gone dormant. I was hoping someone here could point me in the right direction
