taranis center point drift

Post by burobaaje »

I set my center points using subtrim to 1500. Check later and the roll is moved about 25 points down to 1480 or so. Re-trim and it moves again. Do I need to reflash the firmware? Have a gimble problem? I think it caused a couple of crashed last flights. Thanks!

Update: In another test, I set all at 1500 and then rolled right and left a couple of time. Instead of returning to 1500 or no input it stayed at 1482. Anyone know what could cause this?

Defective gimbal? Maybe just the pot not well tightened in place...

I did have a loose pot on one of my Taranis Gimbals and to fix it from moving, I used a little Super Glue on it.
You may want to upgrade your Gimbals to the M9 Gimbals.

Thanks to both, will open the taranis and check gimbal, but thinking seriously about going M9.
