About the swashring ...

ive read:Swash Ring: As the name implies. This limits stick movement just like a physical swash ring. Notice that this only works on AIL and ELE regardless of radio mode selected.

Id like to set it up need more clues cuz as it is,its not working ;)

My settings are based on the heli template

could it be because 1 of my swash channel is reversed ? i doubt it...

thanks

What does not working mean? It doesn't limit swash movement or the swash simply won't move? By default the wash ring is set to 0. This turns it off, so you get full movement from you servos. Try setting it to 20, and adjust from there. I set mine so full throw is just short of binding. Then I use the dual rates to get a travel that I am comfortable flying with.

Augusta600gt:

Take a look at this: viewtopic.php?f=57&t=510

swash ring only changes your cyclic pitch, not collective.

I am behind, as usual, writing up the detailed instruction. but you can get just about everything from that topic. The eepe at the end may work a little better.

Hi Guys.
I hope I am at the right place.
I have been digging all over and cannot find help.
Where can I find User Guides or any info on what the logic is behind things like Mixes & Switches on the ER9X.
I see on the Switches this afternoon that I can use logic functions, but would like a lot more info.
I don't want examples, I want to learn the logic behind the radio.
Thanks.

Hi jhsa and others.
I have been through those links, but we are still not at the crucx of the matter.
For Instance, with Multi Lines in the Mixes for the same chanel, which lines have priority and if Multiple lines evaluate to a TRUE, which one is used. This is the type of thing I am looking for.
I see the examples, but there is not much explanation of why things are done in a certain way.
Anyway, maybe I am just barking up yhe wrong tree, so lets call it quits.
Thanks Regards.

Miser lines on a same channel are added by default, starting from the top and descending. There are options though, namely the Multiplex parameter that can be set to Replace (in which case, if that mixer line is active, it replaces all previous ones) or multiply (multiplies the output of all previous lines).

All explained here.

Hello,
i try to translate the manual to german. I use http://openrcforums.com/wiki/index.php/Er9x_user_guide
as base for it. Is this the actual manual?
The pictures are a little pit dark, maybe i copy the pic's out of the PDF version.

I hobe i can show you the GE-Manual soon.

Hallo,

Ciao

MAX was renamed to HALF some time ago, so that's what you're looking for.

I just recently was able to power up a rx. I successfully bound it to channel One. While playing with the mixes an such I accidentally switched by Tx from channel 1 to channel 2. The servos still moved. I thought when you bound a rx to the tx it was also keyed to one channel. Am I wrong on this? Was just wanting to make sure I did not mess up when I bound the rx to the tx

To the best of my knowledge er9x by its self does not have the equivalent of Spektrums model match function that matches mix memories to each RX. Any RX bound to the 9x will respond to any memory selected. I believe the Pxx protocol will do what your thinking but others will have more facts on that. I also think it involves a Frsky module and RX firmware update.
There are warnings posted by MikeB and Rob I believe warning not to change memories with the tx in control of the plane to avoids just what you've experienced for safety's sake.
I'm sure more facts will be posted by others.
If you do the Spektrum mod and run er9x that will do what your thinking.

If you use the dsm hack modules, then you get model match.

The matching tech is a rf module feature ;-)

Which kind of RF modules are you using?
Of those commonly used with the 9x, only the DSM mod with a DSMX-capable module and receiver will have model match. The stock RF doesn't support that.
