[SOLVED] Anybody recieve telemetry to turniga9x er9xfrsky from qczek lrs?

Post by whoim »

Im trying. er9x frsky 822, m64. Use sbus via invertor (transistor), rc working. Recieve to M0 pin data, view from oscil. 9x modifled (switches to 41/42 pins).
Connect m0 lrs to mosi, no telemetry on display..
Trying invertor, no success.
Helьp :)

Doesn't this LRS provide MAVLINK telemetry, not frsky?

Mavlink & s.port one time. Say, telemetry recieve working, if protocol: sbus?
Im send channels to qlrs via sbus, and need to recieve s.port back from qlrs.

Frsky = s.port, right?

What Tx module and what receiver are you using?

Hello! Rx side: e32-433t20 100mv, 1.92 qczek firmware.
Tx side: e32-433t30 1w v6.2, 1 92 qczek.
FC: omnibus f4 pro v3, telemetry mavlink at softserial (moto pins).
Telemetry settings: mavlink 57600 on FC, 1.Mavlink enc 57600 on RX, 3. Mavlink + S.Port master on TX.
Mavlink present at tx side, s.port visible via oscil and led blink.

TX side in JR on T9X, s.port tx pin qlrs (m0) connected directly to pin2 atmega64 on T9X (rx0 pin).

er9x on a M64 doesn't support mavlink protocol, unless the ARDUPILOT version does that. I'm not sure exactly what that supports. It also looks to use a baudrate of 38400.
The M64 doesn't have enough flash memory to include mavlink.

No! TX module have mavlink & s.port both. Im use s.port pin for connect to m64 rx. Data present on this wire, i see via ossicilograf.

See: http://qczek.beyondrc.com/qczek-lrs-433 ... telemetry/

Maybe, invalid baudrate?

SPort telemetry data is INVERTED serial, you need to put an inverter in the signal between the module and the M64.

Yes, im trying inverter on bcr533 digital transistor, and see inverted signal via osicil. But at this time drone not have GPS FIX, and im reading: qczek not send telemetry data if no gps fix.

Im trying now today, ok, and record video.

Hello! Im connect m64 via inverter, wait for gps fix (8 satellites), see video: https://youtu.be/gdTP1-fBphg

The telemetry type and baud rate used depends on the protocol used for controlling the module. Are you using PXX (XJT)?

No, sbus. My tx lora have problem at AUX pin, xjt and ppm not work.. sbus work via inverter and RX pin.
Telemetry not work if protocol not xjt?

SPort telemetry at 57600 baud is only enabled if the protocol is XJT or MULTI wit sub_protocol FrSkyX.

Tnx.. maybe, in future, can create inclusion and configuration without being bound to a protocol? In new versions?

Im stupid. Use invalid firmware for qczek tx module, sbus, non xjt. Now im update firmware, aux pin work!

Now all work! Telemetry present!
Details:
Connect t9x er9x 1pin JR to AUX pin qczek.
Select XJT D16 protocol on t9x model menu.
Connect M0 pin qczek (parallel led) to pin2 m64 (use 5pin JR box) via inverter (as for sbus, npn transistor).
Config qczek tx as XJT for input, 16 channels, Mavlink + S.Port Master in Telemetry.

On drone enable Mavlink 57600 at uart, enable Mavlink telemetry on qczek RX and not use silent mode.

Thanks!

Hi Mike. Has anything changed since the last time about Sbus and SPort? The latest firmware of QLRS works only on Sbus. No way to add it to any version of er9x? I am using turnigy 9x with m64 processor.

I'll try to post a new test version in a while. SBUS protocol is included in all versions now, but the choice of telemetry protocol doesn't (currently) allow for SPort if SBUS protocol is selected. I'm doing a change so the UsrProto value, in the telemetry menu, selects between SPort and Hub when SBUS is the protocol. A UsrProto of FRSKY is SPort, while FrHub will be hub protocol.

I won't really be able to test it properly.

Telemetry works! However, I found a problem:
- channels are shifted by 1, i.e. channel 15 on the radio corresponds to 14 in the receiver. Channel 1 (RUD) is missing

OK, I'll have a look. Please check the setting in the protocol menu for "1st Chan" on the top line. Is this set to "1"?

All good now then! I did just flash the '2561 version to my '2561 radio and check the output in the module bay wit a 'scope and it looked correct.
