Smart Telemetry with RB20

The hub is handling two receivers, X8Rs. If I plug in for instance Frsky Vario into RX1 I can get the values on the Horus screen. It dislpays 36ft. Good! Then intermittently it will display 36,000xxxx ft! Disconnect RX2 and the value is back to 36 ft and steady. A data problem and conflict? I now plug in the Vario into Smart Port on Hub. The Vario display is erratic as if the hub switching between the RXs and adding confusion. Surfing for more info it has been suggested that this issue is resolved if using ACCESS receivers. Is this fact or rumours?
