Will OpenTX work out of the box with 9XR and Express LRS?

openTx has introduced a range of new features, ideas and bling. It is fast becoming the firmware of choice for many users. openTx will run on ALL current hardware platforms, including the gruvin9x and sky9x boards. Work has already started to support the new FrSky X9D radio!

Will OpenTX work out of the box with 9XR and Express LRS?

I am looking to add support for ELRS to my 9xR and found this module ES24TX (https://www.getfpv.com/happymodel-expre ... odule.html) If I update to latest OpenTX with it work with LUA, and everything?

No.
Support for the 9XR was dropped years ago, and that radio didn't have anywhere near enough resources for lua nor peripherals needed to talk to modern modules at the speed they expect.

I looked closer, and actually I have the 9xr pro. Any better?
