Here is my first atempt to do a SplashScreen please tell me how it looks...

Is that an 'angry bird' ?
Slope Soaring, FPV, and pretty much anything 'high tech'
...........if you think it should be in the wiki.. ask me for wiki access, then go add it!

hi...have you tried it on the tx ?

ive just loaded it and it needs a bit of work ;)

Still have not tested it but the image is not good. seen it in the program eepe and has problems... Can any one explain whtich programme to use to convert to 2bits and how?
Used fireworks CS4 but no luck...

Did you read the sticky/announcement? It explains in paintshop pro, which is similar to photoshop. :D
You could Gimp as well (free)

Hello...

Yes ive read... but i dont know how to reduce the colour palette from 16mill(24 bit) to 2 colour (2bit) in photoshop... That is my problem...

Try this...

go to Image → Mode → Indexed Color → Local (Adaptive) and choose 2 colour. (yes I spell color, colour, it's the Canadian way)

Should work.

Then save as .bmp (it may give you a bit option there , I am not sure,can't find my portable version of Photoshop, argh)

or

Image> mode > grey scale

then

Image> mode > bitmap

dpi would be left whatever it states. (if you bitmap a splash screen it should be 23)

That's it.
