Logical Switches

Post by davek »

I have opentx ver. 2.1.7 on my taranis.
I want one of my gliders to sound an audible warning or voice when my glider goes below a certain altitude. I assume this is done with logical switches and special functions.
Unfortunately my illogical brain is having difficulty in working out how its done.
I would be grateful if someone could guide me to how to proceed.

Hi davek,
I have not used OpenTx for a long time now, but here is where you
can find some OpenTx info: (http://open-txu.org/)
and (https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=P ... 0qlU0q3vJR)
and (http://www.alofthobbies.com/files/Taran ... _Guide.pdf).

Logical switch page, switch L whatever, first box a<x (less than) second box Alt (you need to have discovered the sensor first), next box whatever height you want the switch "on" at.

Next

Special functions page, switch L whatever you used, then play track, then what track you want to play from the sd card sounds folder, then either no repeat or enter seconds to repeat every X seconds.

That will play when you get below X height, to do the opposite switch to a>x.
