No access to OpenLRS configurators

Greetings All,
I can upload OpenLRSng firmware into my Orange Tx and my Orange Rx utilizing the Arduino environment. No Problem.
I can upload firmware into my Tx with the Chrome configurator. The problem comes when I try to connect.
When trying to edit my perams via Chrome configurator I get:
17:51:37 -- Serial port successfully opened with ID: 1
17:51:48 -- Start message not received within 10 seconds, disconnecting
17:51:48 -- Serial port successfully closed
If I attempt it using the DTF UHF Companion I get: Read Error!
I have tried many reloads, holding buttons down in and not in every step. I performed a complete test on my FTDI board.
I really want to progress here but I am totally stuck on this.
