Assuming you're running er9x (and that er9r was a typo), can you save your model in eepe and post it here?

How is the KK2 configured for arming? What firmware is running on it?

Hi Greebo
yes its the ex9x i have. I have been messing about with it and now it does not come on armed but i cant seem to arm it . The kk 2.0 (1.6 firmware) normally arms by putting the throttle down to the left and it arms and away i go. I had it working ok on the turnigy 9x but i wired up the power wrongly and bought the er9x to replace it . i have attached this files i think your looking for

OK, we have some confusion here as to what transmitter you actually have, and what firmware is running on it.
The files you posted are ersky9x files, specifically the firmware is for the SKY board and AR9X boards in the 9X transmitter.
Did you mean to type ar9x rather than er9x?
Also, what Tx module and receiver are you using?

Sorry about this guys . I have a turnigy 9x v2 i got from HK and i blew the board with plugging up the battery wrong way round . I then bought a ar9x board to replace the damaged one . I have been hunting the net trying to sort this and got mixed up with the er9x and ar9x. It is defo a ar9x i have . Hope i can sort this as my head is bursting

I assume you are using the original Turnigy Tx module and receiver.
One quick thing to try is to change the PPM polarity from positive to negative.

I assume you don't have a servo, or any other way of monitoring the outputs of the receiver.

From the main screen, press and hold MENU to get the popup, then down to "Model Edit" and press MENU.
Use the UP and DOWN buttons to get "Protocol" highlighted, then press MENU to select it.
Finally, use UP and DOWN buttons to highlight "POS" beside "Polarity", then press MENU to change this to "NEG".

While for er9x, this manual: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=6473#p90349, should help as much is the same in ersky9x.

Thanks but still no joy. I will have a read of this and see what i can do. I thought it would just be a case of plug and play like the turnigy 9x.

Was the Tx module in the radio when you connected the power the wrong way?

I have just checked an original FLYSKY Tx module and receiver (should be the same as the Turnigy ones), with an AR9X board.
All works correctly.

I'm afraid it is quite likely the module is also damaged. In any case, I would consider it suspect and not fly with it.

Normally only the 5volt regulator in the transmitter module is defective.
That can easily be verified if it works or not (measuring the input and output voltage of the regulator)
And changed if it is defective.

I have tested the 5 v reg and im getting 10.89 on first 2 pins and 2.66 on 2 and 3 pins. This pic is from the net as my module seem to have a silver plate over the top part of the board .Does this seen right ?

Not correct. The centre pin should be ground (0V). One of the others should be the battery voltage and the other 5V.
