Re: New openTX features

I propose to add a issue to OpenTX or companion9x called
Secure financing of firmware builds and hosting for 2014
Let's see if we find sponsors. Which issue tracker should have that?

Re: New openTX features

I want this to be a community project. Shall we give it a try? If normal donations don't work and at least one member of the team would like to work on issues for money so he can afford to spend his time there. I can understand the conflict. If costs escalate or the dayjob gets in the way, this can ...

Re: New openTX features

Not sure FrSky would go for such a deal. I would not. It would suit them well though to throw some coin at the project in the form of sponsoring. Ideally not as a one off. I'm sure they would so that. And what about hobbyking? OK, they don't use OpenTX directly but do they sponsor the project? Bertr...

Re: Video Source Switcher

Indeed. That is pretty much a jelly beans part.
Maxim has a bad rep in high volume markets and the most available switchers on Farnell are TI parts. but just for completeness sake.

Just a transistor does not work. Bipolar signal.
But there are special video switcher chips.
Maxim I think does them. Can do some parts searching later...

Unlikely that you don't but definitely run in PPM mode.

Re: SBUS does not work

I'm pretty sure it's a decoder problem too.
Looks like it somehow looses sync with certain bit patterns or so.
Is frsky following this? Otherwise I guess I would have to write up a support request.

Re: SBUS does not work

I would feel a lot safer about my shiny new model which I built with SBUS if wet knew what the issue is.
Does anyone at least have a theory?

Re: [SUPPORT] OpenLRSng support thread

Hm, not sure actually. Perhaps someone who actually knows what he is talking about should say.
Looks like you'd need to swap the RF module to go on different bands.

Re: [SUPPORT] OpenLRSng support thread

AFAIK OpenLRS covers multiple bands for different frequency domains.
Pretty sure you're covered.

Re: PXX work

Am I right in assuming that PXX is bi-directional?
Or is there still a separate serial line for telemetry with the new Taranis modules (XJT or internal)?

I would even thing that PXX and S.Port are electrically the same?

Re: SBUS does not work

OK, so more details please Create a four channel model and you will see none of the channels get carried on SBUS (Or at least the SBUS decoder has no clue) With what module settings? So here you only add something to the mixer, you don't change the module settings? Yes. Only mixer added. Module set...

Re: SBUS does not work

I kind of got it figured out. There is definitely some kind of bug or unexpected side effect with the amount of channels sent. Perhaps a logic or timing issue. The problem is probably in either the receiver or the transmitter. You should be able to reproduce. Create a four channel model and you will...

Did you have to set anything yo to get the right channels?
In assuming right now that channel 1-8 are on sbus and the pwm pins.

No, only of I connect a battery to the servo changer do I get a light.
And surprisingly when I power the receiver up with no transmitter. As son add the signal is there the led go off.

Re: SBUS does not work

I also tried binding with a jumper between signal pin 3 and 4.
I don't use channels over 8 and I also don't send them. So I did not think that would make sense. And indeed it made no difference.

SBUS does not work

Guys I'm confused and desperate. I have no clue what I'm doing wrong but I can't get my Servos working on the FrSky SBUS decoder. I can connect a battery to the SBUS channel changer and the LED on the decoder light up and I can set up the channels. But if I hook it up to the SBUS port on the X8R rec...
