Yes conectir on the board, then any antenna with u.FL fits. It's not for the faint at heart to solder those u.FL to the board, but can be done. Next time I have mine open I'll take a picture if you need/want it.

Re: Antenna patch
and if you look at the tracks on the stock board (and you have the skilz or knows some one with them) you can stick in a u.FL on there. I have done that some time ago and it works fine. that is just a FYI.

Also Note, on any solar system you want any measurement and controlling to use absolute minimum power. Those LED meter do eat a fair chunk of power. The meters listed above on ebay can be bought very cheap, if you search a bit on ebay. have Fun

just to clarify, my understanding is board size is 45x45 outside, holes are spaced for smaller ...erm eraz can clarify that or maybe put up a dimension drawing ...also the size is universal and on a micro you do not need all those in/outs, that said it can be easy used on a micro quad/hex/octo and i...

How to power a dvm with the source voltage it's reading?
Most cheap dvm needs very low supply and current. IMHO you don't need a ubec. You can get units (display only) ready made for this. I will have a look for some links on ebay when I had some sleep, just back from nightshift. I made some circuits for the same purpose many years ago, it was self contai...

I'm from SA originally, but live in Germany.
I think you have been answered in the other thread. I was not sure if maybe the regulator got overloaded. if it does then you have the same type of symtoms, but seems it is not the problem in this case.

well TC use the same RX, and for him it works with a stock 9x (stock firmware) on the controller. He tested this and could not duplicate it. So now if some one has the same setup maybe they can test it with what ever flight controller or with a scope directly on the output. Think I have to find a ne...

Re: Help with Frsky Lite as TTL converter
As suggested elsewhere also, See if you can "tap" your 5v from the Buzzer/switch board, Not from the main board. You may be overloading your main board 5v regulator. That regulator is rated only 100ma ...and the one on the switch board is also 100ma but it's not used.

No! don't get the HK board ...it's only use is collecting dust. I have one and if any one wants it ....there is far better options out there. Pipo is one ....and seeing this is the Pipo thread I will not list the others, but be carefull on the controller, it will make or break your quad/multirotor ....

Re: PIPO ISU - stabilization board
It's easy, can be done I less than 3 hours with basic stuff. Except for the flight controller a complete Quad can be done for less than $100 If you need to buy every thing. If you have some spare motors and ESC's then all you probably need to buy is a controller and some prop sets (cw/ccw) if you do...

My suggestion is a 5v SBEC. Most Circuits nowadays use a 7805 from power source, so that is also a option. Personally I'll be using the 3s LiFe I have currently, with a 5v SBEC. They are fairly cheap and more efficient than the standard 7805. Most regulators can handel 12v input, and they do not rea...

The only thing you have to watch out for is radio setup like trim and endpoints. Changing RF modules types may require some small adjustments, but in theory it should all work. What I do know is when I changed firmware from stock to er9x I had to do complete setup from scratch for the Heli, but afte...
