Is this after compiling your own source?
I have just downloaded a full svn tree and the files are all the correct size and work?

Re: Screen shots of the new companion9x
I have a netbook that has this issue.
Screen height is 600px.
I normally get round it by doing an ALT-SPACE M then moving the window with the keyboard!

Re: Screen shots of the new companion9x
I think the issue here is not eePe or Companion; but rather the QT Display Libraries. These are a generic library/development environment that helps you build cross platform apps. (Mac/Win/Linux) They have I believe a few 'funnies' that cause issues. What would be good is simply a screen resolution ...

base TX hardware and electronic mods
Rob, From memory, which is always dangerous, and why I'm posting, there's a few hardware mods that should be done on the base unit regardless of which firmware is being used, and they are also relevant if no updated firmware is being used. I don't think we've got them all here yet. The one I am awa...

Assuming you are connecting 9x to 9x then a standard 3.5mm stereo cable (male both ends) will work without any problems.

Working with small components - you need a magnifying glass!
When working on the 9x, a good magnifying glass is a huge bonus. I recently purchased on of these: http://www.maplin.co.uk/22w-fluorescent-daylight-magnifier-lamp-47980 Actually got mine cheaper on ebay - but it is the same product. These are superb and well worth it if you are looking working on yo...

Replacement LCD's for the 9x can be purchased from r2 hobbies

Note! The R2 site lists these as being for the Eurgle Radio. The Eurgle Radio is simply a rebranded 9X, so it will work in any of the 9X based radios!
