You said the Tx and module bound successfully with other models. What receivers are used in those models?

Re: Flysky TH9X and Banggood 4 in 1 Module won't bind to Spektrum receiver
Just had a thought. What model did the AR636A come from? It may make a difference since the AR636 will often only bind when placed in the same orientation as in the model for which it’s programmed. The key issue is which side down? In low wing models, it’s usually label down, while in high wing, its...

Re: Flysky TH9X and Banggood 4 in 1 Module won't bind to Spektrum receiver
Autobind is unlikely to help. It’s intended for protocols which bind automatically when the receiver is powered up. Channel order should not affect bind. What order are you using with the models that work with this Tc and module? I do have an AR636 to test with. What version of ER9X are you using? M...

Hi Rod
I’ll have a go at your problem later today. I’ll have to dig out my old Turnigy 9XR, which is my last transmitter running ER9X (others have ERSkyTX).

Hi Chubby Let’s try to get these two things sorted out. First, dual (and triple) rates and expo. These involve changing the way the control surfaces respond to stick inputs. Rates change the sensitivity across the whole range of movement while expo changes the shape of the response curve. Rates and ...

Re: NOOB need help setting up Hobbyzone Sport Cub S
Here’s what the Sport Cub S setup looks like on my Taranis QX7. It should be similar on your Jumper, except that the switch assignments may differ. I used Switch A for channel 5 (SAFE mode), Switch H (momentary) for Panic Recovery, and Switch F for Throttle Cut (invoked by Special Function). I haven...

Sorry. I missed this when first posted. As indicated previously, Multiprotocol modules generally require that the transmitter be set up in AETR channel order. This means that if you use the wizard for setup you must answer the questions accordingly. Motor is on channel 3, while Aileron and Elevator ...

First, you are confusing limits with rates. The 80% referred to limits, set on what is now called the Outputs page. The other percentages are rates (as in D/R) and are set in the Inputs page. Second, and more important, you are reading something written four years ago. Since then the Multiprotocol f...

The rates and expo for three control surfaces (R, E, A) are controlled by the Rate switch on the transmitter (assuming you are using a DX4e, DX5e or DXe). The rates are 100% with the switch up (position 0) and approximately 70% with the switch down (position 1). On the MLPDSM, rates are controlled b...

Re: X9-Lite not powering on
I put a blob of solder on the positive end of one battery. But you need a good hot iron of adequate size to make sure you can do it quickly without overheating the battery. There are two slightly different types of battery: flat top and button top. The X9-Lite requires button top if you are to avoid...

Re: X9-Lite not powering on
The plastic battery holders have sharp edges and tend to tear the plastic covering on the batteries during insertion or removal. I used very fine sandpaper to take the edges off mine.

Taranis Q X7 shipped without microSD card slot??
The slot is for a MicroSD, thus quite small. That’s the card partly popped out.
Note that it’s called a “TF card” in the illustration in the manual.

Re: Problem binding X9 Lite with Bee Brain Lite
When first released, the X9-Lite was NOT compatible with D16 (ACCST) but only with the new ACCESS protocol. It was necessary to flash to new tx firmware to get D16 compatibility. I suspect this is still the case for many units in the pipeline. Go to FrSky-R.C.com and download the 190605 update for X...

First timer issues on QX7
That’s more like it!
Enjoy.
EDIT: I should add that if the Rx Channel Order in Radio Setup is correctly set to AETR, the Inputs page will show the channels in the same order. So the first line will read:
CH1: Ail I1 : Ail [etc.]
No confusion of channel numbering.
Enjoy.

First timer issues on QX7
Bingo! I got my mix updated per the attached and it's working now! So basically in the mix, the first value should match the 'actual' channel order of the Rx which is TAER, but the 2nd part/column needs to show the order that the I-range apparently likes which is AETR. Very strange but Now I can ju...

First timer issues on QX7
The iRangeX and other Multiprotocol modules require the use of AETR as the standard channel order across all protocols. For DSM protocols, the module then translates to TAER order for transmission to the receiver. For your existing setup, you need to move the relevant mixes so they are associated wi...

Simply copy the file to the “Firmware” folder on the SD card. Then enter Bootloader mode by turning on the transmitter with the horizontal trims held together. Follow the menu to flash the firmware. It’s not obvious which version you are talking about. As I recall, the “original” firmware was r202 b...

“Tarani” is better than “Taranis’s”, which is a singular possessive, as in “His Taranis’s screen was broken, so he couldn’t see the images at all.”
You could say “He had two Taranis transmitters.”

Re: Multiple antenas
It depends which is turned on for a given model. The point is just don’t ever disconnect either antenna if there’s any possibility that that RF unit might be turned on. In other words, the only time the external module’s antenna should be disconnected is when the module is removed, and the internal ...

The X9D for example has a significantly wider screen and higher resolution than the QX7. So the former can display these images while the latter can’t.
Opinion seems to differ on the plural of “Taranis”.
