Just tried your script for a tricopter, using Frsky telemetry data from the flight controller (Naze32 clone, running iNav), and it seems to work just fine....
now I have distance to home again (missing on iNav / cleanflight telemetry, as far as I can tell).
Thanks a lot !!!!

Re: OpenTX - Nightly builds for pre-2.0 testing
I updated today and all mixes or ok like before but there is non thelemetry on x6d an d4r taranis says no data You updated from which build date to which build date? I noticed the same. The nightly build from 18-may shows 'no-data' on telemetry pages, and all telemetry data remains 0. RC control wo...

Re: taranis stuck in startup screen
Perhaps the FW stays in the infinite loop when it waits that all keys are released ... That seems to be happening in my case. Is there any particular reason it is waiting when a key is pressed ? Would it be an idea to let it continue to start-up, and give an alarm message like 'some keys pressed', ...

Re: taranis stuck in startup screen
Thanks for your replies. Managed to get it to boot a few times more.... (but most of the time it just fails). After it booted, I went into the switch test screen. Seems like the ENT key is stuck ON (1) most of the time. Appearently, the firmware is indeed waiting for all keys to be released, a...

taranis stuck in startup screen
Hi, I have a brand new Taranis since a week. It was working perfectly for the last couple of days, but now it seems to have a problem. When I power it on, the OpenTX screen comes on, it gives the 'welcome to Taranis' voice message, but then remains stuck in the OpenTX startup screen. It does n...

Re: wanted: Empty module case for Taranis
I like the construction of the SPM6817 module, with the antenne far out, so it's no longer hidden behind the transmitter.
However, including postage, it's still like 20 us$....
For the same kind of money, I can order a complete Frsky DJT module... (well..... nearly )

Hello, Did anyone find a source for empty DIY module cases for the Taranis (JR style module) ? Can't find anything on E-bay... Have a couple of various radio modules, like Frsky V8HT (the original 1-way DIY), OrangeLRS RX, 9x/Freesky, that i've been using externally before, but want to convert...

Re: Introduction to the openx vario/altimeter
If I turn OFF the decent alarms, it still gives alarms when dropping over -2 m/s.... This may be the same thing that I have mentioned some time back. Descent alarms off and the vario beeps at random in calm air while descending. In fact I landed once and it was still beeping away. So far I haven't ...

sorry to hear that.. if we are only lucky.... then a lot of us had luck so far. The GY.63 board is the most commonly used sensor board. Re: Frsky telemetry max value presentation
I have to admit that I'm not really sure if it was in OpenTx or more probably in Er9x. When you say, the data could be from two different frames, (as a poor example, don't know how to explain it better) do you mean that one byte comes from e.g. byte 11 of frame1 and the other byte comes from byte12...

You will need to have the speaker mod done to get variable tones :-) Hi, I have a stock 9X board with Frsky telemetry and backlight mod. Running Open9X ver 2281 I'm experimenting with vario. Ordered parts for the Open9Xvario, but in the meantime did some experiments with my MWii tricopter which als...

On which field(s) do you see garbage? could be on anyone parameter..... for the normal ones, the next set, will be ok again, but it will get remembered in the max values (alt+, dist+ vel+, etc). i had it happen quite a lot when I had some bad connection in the serial connector going to the Frsky re...

Frsky telemetry max value presentation
Hi, I'm using Frsky telemetry on my 9X, which is working perfectly. I'm running Open9X ver 2249. They were OK in earlier versions. for example, Alt+, ...

I'm using a ER9X equipped 9x radio, and D4FR receiver. I have 4 switches configured for Aux1..4), which could all be at +100% (2000 uS in MultiWi...

GPS over Frsky telemetry serial data
Hi, Last week, I modified an old GPS receiver to output 5V serial (TTL level) for use on a MultiWii through the serial port on the flyduino mega. This works very well :P. It is outputting NMEA data at standard 9600 bps, 1 Hz update. This got me thinking. Could I connect that same GPS receiver direct...

Have never flown with the stock module myself.... it lasted about 30 seconds before I took it apart and installed the Frsky ;) . But for foamy flying, I see nothing wrong with the stock module. It has no failsafe, and (appearently, theoretically) the chances of a loss of control are slightly higher....

idea: Tx Running timer / power meter
Is there somewhere in ER9X a timer, that runs as long as the 9X is powered up, and can be manually reset to zero ?. I'm thinking that might be useful to give an indication of how much time is left on the 9X battery. We need to (manually) reset to zero on a full charge (maybe possible to automaticall...
