Re: ERSKY9X Coding
OK, this is possible. Run eepskye and load your EEPROM from your existing radio. Right click on each model and select "save model/settings". Confirm the file dialog (you might select a different directory). You may leave eepskye now. Now connect to the SD card on the T16, make sure there ...

Re: ERSKY9X Coding
All good! The Drive E: is the SD card, the Drive F: is the actual firmware on the radio. The Drive F: should have a volume name, what is it please? As I mentioned a few posts back, the T16 doesn't have any EEPROM, so the Drive F: doesn't have an "EEPROM.bin" file on it. All the radio setu...

Re: ERSKY9X Coding
Do you know what file the bootloader is in? Or is it the one that was on the radio when you first got it? When in the bootloader, and you plug in the USB cable, do you hear the "USB device connected" tones? If so, can you tell what device is now connected? If the bootloader presents hard ...

Mike,
What condition inside of eepskye triggers the "Tx Not Mounted" message?
Maybe that would help me troubleshoot my problem.
Thanks
Dirk

Re: ERSKY9X Coding
Oops, I forgot you are using a T16. This doesn't have EEPROM, everything is on the SD card. I haven't got round to updating eepskye to handle that yet. Does the SD card show up as a drive in file explorer when using the openTx bootloader? Mike No, it doesn't and that is why I suspect a USB driver i...

Re: ERSKY9X Coding
On the erskyTx test version thread, there is an update to eepskye (actually several!). The most recent is dated 22-Feb-2019. Please try that, download the file, rename eepskye.exe in your eepe directory (so you may revert if needed), then copy eepskye.exe from the downloaded .zip file into your eep...

Re: ERSKY9X Coding
The bootloader declares the volume name of the (pseudo) drive that is the flash and EEPROM memory. It may be that the openTx bootloader is now using a different name. If you connect the USB to your computer, what is the volume name of that drive? What revision of eepskye are you using (revision and...

Re: ERSKY9X Coding
Download "ersky9xProvR222d5.zip" from the test version thread and extract "t16_rom.bin". If you don't have eepskye installed, please install that. First off, try starting the T16 in bootloader mode (trims held inwards), run eepskye and try the "Flash firmware to Tx" bu...

Re: ERSKY9X Coding
I've just posted a new test version. This includes support for MULTI_TELEMETRY. I've also included versions for the X9Lite and the T16. Support is also included for the multi module operating as a receiver for trainer purposes. Mike Hi Mike, I have now OpenTx on my T16. I would rather like to use E...

Re: FRSKY R9M compatibility?
Hi Mike, Sorry to keep bothering you. The Tx has SVN: er9xV2-pjr822 and MOD: FRSKY NT Using both eepeV2 version p423 and eepe version 422, in the model set-up screen I can only select protocol option PXX/XJT and then as Type D16 or D8 or LR12. R9M option does not show up. Update: Using the Tx to con...

Re: FRSKY R9M compatibility?
That worked. Thanks.
Shows version p423
What do I do next to activate the R9M?
Just plug the R9M module in the back?
Which HEX file should I flash to the 9X? mbtx-frskyi-sv.hex or mbtx-frsky.hex?

Re: Er9x R9M compatibility?
Does not seem to make a difference. The old Eepe version re-installs normally but not this eepeV2.exe The file size is much smaller, only 25% of the normal Eepe422. I have manually downloaded and installed the dll's it says are missing. All of them seem to relate to C++. It still can't find QtCore4....

Er9x R9M compatibility?
I want to install the R9M module on one of my TH9X radios with the Smartieparts board. I have ER9x-r820 on the radio and Eep 422 on the PC. I downloaded and tried to install mltx5a.zip with eepeV2.exe. With double click it gives a System Error saying "cannot proceed because Qtcore4.dll, QtNetwo...

Re: ErSky9x Manual
Thanks Joao. I am feeling my way through it. When copying my model set-ups from Er9x, many channels has a Switch (LD) inserted. The LD switch itself is blank. No idea where this comes from, nor what it means. I deleted all the LD switch inserts (about 100 lines for 30 models). The models all now wor...

3 rapid beeps. Meaning?
One of my Er9x Tx's with r767 after being ON for a while starts giving three rapid beeps follwed by a 2 sec pause and then again 3 beeps etc... After another 4-5 minute it stops doing that. My other Tx's do not do that. They are all supposed to have the same settings. I checked things like timer, in...

Re: How to use er9X with/as a buddy box trainer
I solved my problem by discovering that in the settings the throttles cannel was showing ADD instead of SUBSTITUTE. How stupid can you be! As to diodes and resistors, we should find a way to separate that sort of discussion from the programming and mixing issues. Not that diodes etc... are not inter...

Yes to both. If not the control surfaces should not work either. Correct?cre8tiveleo wrote:settings for trainer 'on' on master - trainer 'off' on student box?
Edit:
I suspect that playing with the calibration settings could fix it.

I set up a buddy box link between two Er9x Tx's using the simple cable and disconnecting the module on the student Tx. Works fine for all the control surfaces but not for throttle. Good Customer Service from Steven (SmartieParts)
I had an early Rev 2 board from Dec 2010 that created intermittent reboots.
I did not realize what was going on until recently and that it was a known issue and was fixed in Rev 2.1 boards.
Steven, very correctly, shipped me a new board which just arrived.
Thanks
