Re: ERSKY9x Questions
I think, but I'm not 100% sure, that the GPS reports in feet. I was going to hook this one to my computer but
since I really couldn't afford to replace it I never hooked it up to my PC.

Re: ERSKY9x Questions
Now for the new switch options I set CH9 to A--SW4--siren. I then set SW4 v>ofs--Galt--406. So if my GPS reads over 406 ft. I should get a siren alarm.
Also because I set it as "A" CH9 is not affected by this and so really I could set this up on an active channel.
Is this correct?

Just to let you know r60 still shows as r59 however the new switch options are there. I have a question but I'll post in the questions category.

Re: Companion 9X telemetry input
Any word on this? I am reduced to walking around with the plane to test the gear deployment based on my GPS data, I hit 1 MPH and the gear retracts, I stop and the gear comes down.
I have no way of checking my manual over ride gear switch.

Re: ERSKY9x Questions
Ah...kinda thought so on the CPU test.
I just tried to put in a new splash screen using Companion9X. It doesn't give me the option to do so when I select r59 however when I chose r57 it give me the option.
Is there a different way of doing it now?

Re: ERSKY9x Questions
New revision committed (r59). Summary of changes: While no telemetry data is being received, the TX RSSI value is set to 0. This may be used as a test in the custom switches to override other tests for example. The splash screen now includes the SKY text in the image so it won't upset custom splash...

OK...I start walking and the gear retracts in about 4- to 5 seconds, once I set the plane back in it's cradle it takes 4 to 5 seconds for the gear to come back down.

[/quote] Please, what fw are you using and r#? Have you tested the Vario/altimeter for correct height and display # Imp or Met? How fast is the gps update time I wonder? Re: ERSKY9x Rev. B1 User Area
So with the new release, I can set SW2 to be v<ofs/Gspd/30. I can then set my flaps and or gear to deploy when my GPS data is less then 30MPH? Is this correct? I just did a simple test. I have a normal gear switch for manual operation and I have another switch to enable the gear to deploy and retra...

Re: A couple of suggestions
Am I correct that the Imperial version uses knots for the speed? (I just tested it and that seems to be the case) If so, why not use MPH? Is MPH an aeronautical speed ? either is KNOTS or Km/h.... I never saw a real airplane with MPH.... (maybe can be useful you drive cars) Yes it is. Sort of... Al...

Re: Companion 9X telemetry input
Correct Bertrand. Obviously the capabilties of the Ersky board are entensive so we can only wait and see what comes from it. However Open9X can run on the Ersky board now and has the telemetry triggered events. To have some fields so we can fill in variables for telemetry, we can then simulate what ...

Companion 9X telemetry input
There is a request for telemetry be a control input on the Ersky FW. I see that open 9X already has this and so I tried it on Companion 9X and I could see it works. I set up a simple switch to activate a channel when speed is below 30 mph. Can you provide an area that we can input whatever we want a...

The motor just acts as it should if you have it set for say a short beep, level 5, but I have haptic turned off. Now today I finally had the opportunity to use the buddy box system. It took a little while to get both radio's sync'd however once I did it was fine, ersky as the instructor and stock bo...

Re: ERSKY9x Rev. B1 User Area
You're correct mike. It shows MPH on the telemetry screen. It just does't change on the selection screen.
Also the vibrating motor activates when I turn on the radio even though I do not have haptic selected for anything and have strength set to 0.

In r56, when frhub is selected metric is the only option available. When WSHh1 is selected only imperial is available.
Options to select IMP or MET are no longer available.
