Re: Arduino based S-Bus decoder with CPPM and Servo
Thanks for the response and links. I did look at the first post. I can connect sbus though an inverter to the flip32, there are 2 hardware serial ports. between sbus, telemetry, gps, osd output, and programming connections I seem to run out of reliable serial connections. http://fpv-community.de/sho...

Re: Arduino based S-Bus decoder with CPPM and Servo
Hi msterns or mikeb, just curious if your sbus to ppm output could be adjusted to output cppm/ppmsum and 8 servo outputs on a pro mini arduino? I am working with a flip32 and would like to keep the serial port open for some other options by using cppm, I would also like the additional servos. Curren...

Re: OpenxGPS?
I think the limit on some of the better ublox gps is 10 hz. Some are limited to 5 hz. Im not sure what the update rate over the frsky s.port connection would be. Direction may have a bit of lag with a gps, it would have to wait for a change in position to give you a heading, thats where the apm/ardu...

Re: Taranis battery compartment serial port
When the serial port is set to "S.Port Mirror" mode in the hardware settings it forwards all telemetry information received from the module. BUT it is in "native" binary smart port format, not the old D-series format. AFAIK dashboard apps don't support it at this point, so you'd...

Re: OpenxGPS?
I worked with the openvario code and then found a program for the teensy 3.1 to translate mavlink data to s.port. A modified version translated gps data to s.port but was made for the teensy. I worked with a modified version made for the naza to get it to run on the atmega 328. The attached code can...

Taranis battery compartment serial port
I am trying to get data from the serial port. It appears to be sending a string but many of the characters are giberish. I was following the work on this post http://openrcforums.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=97&t=6022&start=30. and tried to connect to the frsky dashboard app in the android mark...

Re: OpenxGPS?
Hi Maguro, I also would like to try your code. My arduino code knowledge is a bit limited. I have a functioning voltage sensor using openxsensor but have not had luck modifying the mavlink code to work on the arduino 328 in lieu of the teensy's smt32. I would assume you can read the gps sensor at 96...
