Re: My Taranis Spektrum module

Very nice. I bought some empty DJT module cases from Aloft but I like your design better. Once I get my printer going I'm definitely going to give it a try, your antenna mounting solution looks a lot nicer than FrSky's and yours does not have the unnecessary cut outs for telemetry and serial. I've h...

Re: S1 pot doesn't center to "0"

The Taranis I recently bought has detents on those knobs. Sounds like they did make a change at the factory.

Re: My Taranis Spektrum module

I'd be interested in a case that would work with the FRSky cable and antenna like these, I've seen a couple on Thingiverse but without a working 3D printer I'd have to go to Shapeways and thats really expensive unless I can find someone with a printer that can help out. http://www.alofthobbies.com/r...

Re: My Taranis Spektrum module

Thanks so much. My boards arrived today so it's perfect timing.

Any chance I could get a printed case from you?

I'd print my own but my printer is still under construction and will need tuning after that and I'm impatient.

Re: Taranis update (not stupid question)

If we have an update for the Open TXU who do we contact? In particular the method documented for running an app not downloaded from the app store on Mac OSX is way to broad. You do not need to change the system setting if you Ctrl-Click to get the menu and select open from there. That will override ...

Voice Packs

Does the 2.0.7 firmware incorporate the changes to improve the sound of the voice prompts or do I still need to do that separate?

I read the radio as shipped does not have the prompts optimized for the production speaker.

Twin setup - Delta Ray

I'm running Companion and Firmware 2.0.7 on a Mac and making my first attempt at a setup. The model is a HobbyZone DeltaRay without the onboard mixing (attempting to do in in the TX). I used the setup wizard to make a basic delta wing setup and that went well, I put throttle on CH1 and the Elevons o...

Re: My Taranis Spektrum module

Thanks. I'll keep an eye out for the BOM.

Are you planning to seel or share the case design? I'm working on a Mini Kossel of my own so in theory once I get the kinks worked out I could print one. Might just be easier to by the Spektrum shell for now though

Re: My Taranis Spektrum module

I found your design on the OSH Park site, hope you don't mind that I ordered some. Do you have a BOM for the parts you used? Is the 3D printed case available somewhere for me to print? Assuming I don't screw mine up, I'll have two extra PCB's when I'm done if someone is interested (cost + postage).
