Re: Upgrade 3 Position Switch Mod 9Xtreme
Hi Steven
Yes it was a simple fix but it would have been the last thing I looked at - I was focusing too deep - thinking of complications like firmware issues
It just needs someone with an open mind and intuition to step in
thanks again - its a good feeling to fix problems

Re: Upgrade 3 Position Switch Mod 9Xtreme
Just a thought... but is it possible that you have file extensions hidden? When you normally look at text files in Windows Explorer, do you see "textfile.txt" or simply "textfile"? If extensions are hidden, and you force it to say "MODEL06.txt" then really the file is ...

Re: Upgrade 3 Position Switch Mod 9Xtreme
Hi Joao
Yes - I have exactly matched the text file name to the model name
I have also tried with the TEXT folder as a subfolder in the MODELS folder with no sucess
I created the text file from the dialogue box in Windows 10, I think this is using Notepad - is this the correct way?

Following your guidance, the log function is working fine and the data loads into Excel to give useful graphs
An added bonus is that the GPS coords can be put into Google to show the flight path - brilliant!
many thanks

Joao
Just noticed a possible anomaly on Eepskye
Input of the expo value can done through the edit mix option or through the expo/dual rate option but the values dont seem to be linked
It seems that the value of expo only works through the expo/dual rate option
any thoughts?

Thanks for the quick reply
Yes I agree the existing switch names are clear and avoid confusion as the basic set up but perhaps a user only change function in the hardware menu is a useful option - just a thought as I think I may get confused when I reassign a few switches

Re: Upgrade 3 Position Switch Mod 9Xtreme
Mike
I have another question regarding switch names
I am transfering my flap function from switch ID0 to the rudder switch on the left side of the TX
Is it possible to rename the switches, say from RUD, ELE to A,B,C etc to avoid confusion when setting up various mixes and voice alarms
regards
