binding Spectrum Receiver to Horus x10s

Hey all - I could use some help please. I am trying to bind a Spectrum DSMX with As3x receiver to my Horus X10s transmitter. I plugged in an OrageDSM2/DSMX transmitter module into my Horus radio and made sure the model setup is set to PPM (see below). With the bind plug in the receiver, I hooked up ...

Voltage Sensor no longer reading

Hey all - I have a Horus X10S running OpenTX 2.3.14. After updating to this version, my voltage sensors and ALT sensors are no longer giving me a readout from the radio. Your help is MUCH appreciated. Ron

Re: Telemetry issue upgrading from 2.1 to 2.2

BINGO!!! For some reason, I did not copy the SYSTEM folder over when changing the audio files. Everything now works. THANK YOU!! Really appreciate all your time. Take care and happy flying! Ron

Re: Telemetry issue upgrading from 2.1 to 2.2

A friend of mine, who is also a Taranis User, downloaded the new sound files and I copied them into CompanionTX and on my SD card. I also copied the opentx.sdcard.version' onto the SD card. That all said, I am not following you on what I should now be checking. BTW - when you played my files on your...

Re: Telemetry issue upgrading from 2.1 to 2.2

Thanks Dean - I am truly enjoying the build and flying of this collection. To your question, none of the play values read out when I hit the SH switch. Attached is my .otx file. Once again- greatly appreciate your help with this.

Re: Telemetry issue upgrading from 2.1 to 2.2

Hi Dean - I believe my settings are correct based on what you are suggesting. That said, I am attaching a photo of the telemetry page on my radio (plane hooked up to a lipo), the computer screen shot of my Logical Switches, Special Function, and Telemetry page. I would greatly appreciate if you coul...

Re: Telemetry issue upgrading from 2.1 to 2.2

RSSI is showing up on the sensor list along with my voltage sensor. Per your question, "did you re-enter the special function(SF) for Play Value RSSI? " I did not change or enter any new information since the upgrade. I am using R8X receivers

Re: Telemetry issue upgrading from 2.1 to 2.2

You have to do it on the transmitter with the receiver and all sensors you want to see bound and powered on. Short press MENU, then PAGE to the telemetry screen, then scroll down to 'Discover new sensors, ENTER that when it is highlighted. Wait a while to make sure all your sensors show up. If no s...

Hi Dean - thanks for jumping in. I did not perform that function. How do you "re-discover sensors"? Is there a link you can direct me to? Thanks again.

Telemetry issue upgrading from 2.1 to 2.2

I programmed the SH toggle switch on my Taranis Plus radio to provide instant RSSI and telemetry readout. This feature worked fine in 2.1, but no longer works in 2.2. I did change all my audio files (limit to 6 characters) so that they play in the "Play Track" mode. All my audio works fine...

Re: X8R Receiver Power Option

Just a though, could there be an increase RF signal in the servos wires when using a Redundancy Bus. I have not read-up on Redundancy Bus to how it works, so I maybe way off with my suggestion. So I have had servo-chatter caused by servo wires running to close to each other :( and was able to fix i...

Re: X8R Receiver Power Option

I vote for redundancy bus: http://frsky-rc.com/product/pro.php?pro_id=155 . Hi Carbo - so sorry, but I am now just reading your reply. I actually purchased a Redundancy Bus. For some reason, sometimes it works fine and other times it makes the servo "chatter". When I disconnect the chatte...

X8R Receiver Power Option

I am building a scale Cessna 337 that requires 16 channels. I wired together two X8R receivers and am using all 16 slots for servos - leaving no slots available to plug in a 2 cell Life battery to power the receivers (I prefer not to use a BEC). I tried installing a Y connector allowing me to connec...

Re: Voltage Senor hook up for X8R Receiver

I am using the frsky voltage sensor as indicated in Dean's reply. I tried hooking one to each lipo and daisy chaining them together and then to the smart port on the receiver. It did not work. Any suggestions are welcomed.
Thanks
