Re: P1 and P2 range 1000-1500.... where's 1501-2000?
lol oops!! Sorry about that and thank you for fixing it :) I've attached the eepm for the model I'm fussing with. Incidentally, I tried binding P2 to channel 7 on another model (that only uses 3 channels, so no biggie) and Found That I only get 1000-1500 there, too. The radio is using er9x-frsky-r81...

P1 and P2 range 1000-1500.... where's 1501-2000?
Hey folks, A model profile I've been using successfully for years is behaving differently now that I've upgraded to the latest er9x release. I have two pots (P1 and P2) assigned to the pan & tilt functions of a camera gimbal on my plane. Prior to the upgrade, I could twist P2 and the servo for t...

Re: How to capture Frsky max altitude during a flight?
Mike, I gave this a go, but could not get the alt to stick--it only reports alongside the Alt value in the custom display field (in the telemetry window). Piping the values through the scalar worked just fine--it seems like L1 isn't being triggered. The value for CH16 on its own at +100% would be 15...

Wow, thanks!
I'll start fussing with this tonight. Much appreciated, this is pretty tricky stuff.

Mike,
When do you think you'll have this value accessible? This flying season, or more likely in 2018?

MikeB, is this something you've enabled in er9x since this post? This is exactly what I'm looking for for DLG use!

How to capture Frsky max altitude during a flight?
Hi folks! I'm getting into discus launched gliders and I've acquired a Frsky variometer for use in reporting my height and vertical airspeed. The telemetry works great--I have the current values displayed perfectly. My puzzle is trying to figure out how to get er9x to record the highest altitude val...

P2 Pot shows no change on screen but measures ok
Hi folks, I've not used my P2 for months; when I went to add it to a new model I'm building out, I found that turning it triggers no changes in ER9x. The little bar that resembles the input range does not move, nor does the value change on the ANA calibration screen. I opened the radio and tested th...

Re: Frsky Telemetry Screen has Decayed
I haven't updated er9x for almost a year now. Have there been frsky-related improvements over the past year? I dread having to fiddle around in there lol... but I'd be you're right. Can you think of any clever way to test connection integrity? I've already opened it up and looked at things; nothing ...

Frsky Telemetry Screen has Decayed
Hi folks, I've been using my 9x with er9x for over a year with no issues, ever. I have the DIY Tx embedded within, the chip phyisically modded as described here , and I'm using Frsky 2 way receivers on my aircraft. The problem I'm trying to puzzle out is that my telemetry screen--which shows my on b...

Re: Anylink install for 9x transmitters
Thank you! Do you have any pictures of this process? Track cutting sounds like it could go horribly wrong if I pick the wrong ones lol I have my radio set up with a double pole double throw(DPDT) switch. This allows me to select either the internal DHT or the module bay. It's pretty simple to do rea...

Re: Anylink install for 9x transmitters
This is super handy! Could I do this with the Frsky DIY transmitter module already installed? Mine is attached to the controller as described above already, so would soldering another transmitter (in this case, AnyLink) to the same pins create contention or otherwise cause issues?

Hi folks,
I must be missing the giant obvious spot... where can I go to read about the improvements in newer releases of code?
Thank you!

Re: 9x, Frsky, and a Frsky Voltage Sensor
Perfect!! This nailed it. This will be a major help for my tiny quad; those little batteries suffer heavily if they're overdrawn lol
With a bit of fiddling I figured out how to set the values, too. AND discovered that the voltage can be posted to the 9x screen! What can't this thing do??

9x, Frsky, and a Frsky Voltage Sensor
Hi folks! I'm using er9x with the frsky build and it works perfectly. I have two receivers, the D8R-II Plus and the 6-Channel D6FR . http://frsky-rc.com/uploadfile/201101/20110105150412932.jpg http://frsky-rc.com/uploadfile/201201/20120109190311180.jpg Both transmit RSSI to 9x and it's displayed pro...

Re: Trainer/Student Almost works.... but
I should have been more specific: the 9x is master, spek is slave. I'm already able to see the values change on the 9x on the calibration line, so that proves the signal is transmitting from slave to master without issue. The puzzle is how to get the slave's commands to pass to the radio? Flipping a...

Trainer/Student Almost works.... but
I followed the instructions here http://openrcforums.com/wiki/index.php/Er9x_setup_buddy_box_Instructor/Student I'm attached to a spektrum dx6i and I do get the values changing on the Calib line, but I can't seem to get the spek's inputs to transmit out of my 9x. I'm probably missing a simple step.....

Re: Delay on a Pot?
Alrighty! It seems that as values climb or descend toward midpoint, the delay works. Once I head past midpoint, the delay is absent. Is that something that'll just have to be, or is there an adjustment that can be made? Hmm that just creates a twitch every second. This however works, actually a deri...

Delay on a Pot?
Hi folks, I've converted one of my pots to a 6 position switch in preparation for adding ardupilot mega to my plane. I'd like to set a 1 second delay on changes of the values on that pot so that I can cycle through the modes without activating them as I pass through. The delay would do it very well,...

Pretty incredible troubleshooting, right there... I did exactly as you described. Adding my FrSky modules is tonight's project. I figured putting that firmware on would get me one step closer to done.
Thank you very much for that!

1 or 2 dead switches, can't tell!
Hey folks, I just got my 9x today! And 10 minutes later had the smartieparts board installed, er9x flashed to it. Everything appears to work great! Except the Aileron DR switch and the throttle hold switch. Now I know that sometimes the soldering joints aren't so hot--and I admit I haven't re-solder...
