Re: Speaker Mod - need Clarification
Sorry to hijack this thread a bit but have a few questions for the experts. So if I understand correctly the "PiSpkr" option can be used also with the stock tgy9x speaker, to get different beeping alarms (scifi, robot, etc.)? I've read some reports that its usable. I'd like to have a sound...

Thanks! If using a flight controlled which reads the ppm stream, that above wouldn't be needed right?

Re: Audio (voice) - Stock 9X PCB
Jhsa why didn't you go with HaGeHa's components? LTMNO I'll probably choose that board from Hans (thats HaGeHA right), so I would appreciate the JPG's....UV isn't an option for me since I would have to buy that lamp and stuff and I don't do a lot of pcbs per year...Theres also Seedstudio but I don't...

Re: Audio (voice) - Stock 9X PCB
I'm thinking about DIY-ing either 9xVoice by MikeB (through hole version) or MegaSound9X by HaGeHa...Got a few questions, firstly is there any big difference between the two that I should be aware of (is one superior in any way)? Secondly probably I'll make the pcbs with toner transfer method, I kno...

Re: botched antenna mod, need new RF9x-v2
Joao so it won't work if I for example connect a coax+rp-sma to the pads on the tx module and then connect the frsky 7db patch to it?
How would I have to do it so that it would work optimally?

I've also heard the same, maybe its different between different "ages" of receivers?Kilrah wrote: Have you checked all channels? From what I've read not all channels behave the same way, and then differ between receiver versions. So for example 2 will hold but the others will go dead, etc

Re: Failsafe for Turnigy receivers
Buzz can you share the code and schematics for the attiny85 you are using! I would like to use such a project....In my case I would go like this, have two channels connected, the throttle channel which goes blank when receiver looses signal (this way the attiny could detect when receiver lost signal...

Re: Failsafe for Turnigy receivers
But do turnigy receivers do (a) also on the throttle channel? Wouldn't that mean the throttle was still on, from what I've seen the throttle is off when it doesn't have signal?

Re: ERSKY9x Rev. B1 User Area
Sorry for the slight off-topic question,...but is anyone of you guys who are already using this immensly powerful ersky board willing to sell/donate the original 9x board to me?
I would need it for a project which doesn't require all the powerful features that the ersky board offers.
Thanks!

Re: MSV 19 (other firmware)
What about using an arduino mega 1280? It's under 20$ and has more i/os. Switches/pots are extremly cheap from ebay,..gimbals one can get from some old radios..And the lcd from r2hobbies (if possible to interface it)...Kilrah I have an off-topic question for you, do you maybe have a spare 9x mainboa...

Re: MSV 19 (other firmware)
That would be really cool, are you interested in doing that ..I'm probably not capable enough sadly
If you do it you will make a lot of people very happy
Probably a different LCD would have to be used? Or could the same lcd that the 9x uses be also connected to an arduino?

Re: MSV 19 (other firmware)
Very interesting! I would be very pleased if someone would make a firmware that would run for example on an arduino with atmega328..That one could easily upload through the ArduinoIDE. I know the atmega328 has less inputs then the mega64, but I've seen that the 3-way switches could be multiplexed th...

9X mainboard wanted
Hi, I have an old radio I would like to convert to er9x (I'll buy some additional pots and switches)... I don't need all the features the new ersky board offers, so I'm looking for a original 9x mega64 mainboard.. You guys who have upgraded your 9x's to the excellent ersky board probably don't have ...

Hi are you still offering parts for sale? Id be interested in the stock 9x transmitter module, if it hasn't burned up? And maybe in the "throttle side" gimbal?

If someone has some leftover turnigy 9x transmitter modules, and also receivers, I would be glad to take them off their hands :D (Please be from EU)... I need them to try an arduino project, to try and interface the turnigy 9x transmitter module with an arduino...I'll need some help from the experts...
