Re: i want to replace a pod so i can use and slider instead
Did you manage to find a small enough slider ? I'm also interested to add another POT/SLIDER somewhere on the left or right side of my 9x, so I can easier change the pitch of my gimbal. The sliders I found localy are so big, I think something like this one will be great , it's travel is 20mm http://...

Re: Set voltage alarm when using only FrSky FLVS-01 sensor
I was thinking the same, as every time I charge the lipo , it never fill in more than 2500mah on a 4500 - 5000mah lipo.
I will try lowering my alarms to 3.5 to see how much the flight time increases and how fast it drops the voltage.

Re: Set voltage alarm when using only FrSky FLVS-01 sensor
Sorry for not posting back, I also can confirm cvolt is working great now, I just flashed R788 and it beeps when one cell is lower than 3.6 and when volt divider is lower than 14.3 (alarm Orange) and 14.1v (alarm Red) What do you think, 14.3v is ok for the first alarm ? Do you guys fly more (set the...

Re: Set voltage alarm when using only FrSky FLVS-01 sensor
If you build new firmwares I can try them to let you know if the bug is fixed.
Yes , I'm using 4S lipo, I will try some different resistors to achive a different ratio for the volt divider.

Re: Set voltage alarm when using only FrSky FLVS-01 sensor
I have upgraded to the latest firmware, I did found the Ctot option and many more, but on the Cvlt it acts the same, the alarm is active if i set it at 3.5v, but if I lower it at 2.00 it stops (at 2.1 it still active) I made a voltage divider with some resistors I found around (I think R1 3k3 and R2...

Re: Set voltage alarm when using only FrSky FLVS-01 sensor
Thank you Kilrah, I enabled now the beeper mode, but have an issue with the alarm as it is continously activated, you can see a screenshot of my settings. The alarm is ringing even if there is no cel with a lower voltage than 3.5v I could not find in the WIKI what |v|>offset and |v|<offset mean , an...

Re: Set voltage alarm when using only FrSky FLVS-01 sensor
Thank you, I just checked the custom switches and made on SW4 the following condition: SW4 v<ofs Cvlt 3.50v (i couldn't find Ctot, maybe because I have an older version of er9x? bellow are the details of the firmware) er9x-r762 VERS: V1.5650-erez It took me a little bit to find how to trigger the al...

Set voltage alarm when using only FrSky FLVS-01 sensor
I have some questions regarding alarms setup on my Turnigy 9x .
I connected the lipo monitor from FrSky FLVS-01 and it shows the values of every cell on my 9x screen, but how can I set the alarm using only this sensor ?
Do I still need to plug in a voltage divider in A1 ?
Thank you.

How to start timer on throttle above 40% ?
Hello guys, I was wondering if with er9x I have the option to start the timer when the throttle stick is above a defined level, I don't know why but I almost always forget to flip the switch to start the timer :( I have a lipo alarm mounted on my lipo, so that will remind me if I fly too much, but t...

Re: Help deciding best way to do telemetry mods
Mike, Crucial, thank you for the DIY guides .. I'll do them later today as it seems is very very easy. Now I'm struggling to make the MinimOSD to connect to APM2 telemetry port, it's been a few hours , and the second time I try to make it work but no luck .. always getting the "Waiting for Mavl...

Re: Help deciding best way to do telemetry mods
Thank you crucial, this is very cheap and I don't think it worths the time to make it myself, I'll have to see what are the fees for international shipping. I don;t realy know if it helps that much to see the voltage of every cell because I think anyways the cells are discharging almost equaly, it's...

Re: Help deciding best way to do telemetry mods
Than I should wait, I don;t really want to start all over again using a new firmware althrough it seems the way you enter in a menu is similar to er9x. Now more important to me is to get the lipo curent on my display, and set some alarms for it. Don;t know yet how to do it and if I need the voltage ...

Re: Help deciding best way to do telemetry mods
I have the DIY internal module. When I bought the smartiebarts and TTL convertor, and FrSky DIY module I used your PDF guide as a shopping list :) I don't know, maybe only I was confused, but now when I tried to modify the 9x I didn't really understood where to solder the two wires from the TTL. Now...

Thank you. Yeah, I read it but it seems I missed a few words "through full range". I redid the calibration and everything is ok now, in the mean time I also modified the splashscreen, the procedure to not loose any configurations already made on the TX is this ? 1. Read firmware from TX 2....

So if you hold down Menu for about 1-2 seconds .... it does nothing? it should bring up a different screen with a spanner ICON for settings and another one (can't remember what that one was at this time) Correct, if I press or long press the menu button, nothing changes on the screen, I see the def...

Yes I'm using the stock firmware, I already tried long pressing the buttons, no action :( Even if they ware slow, I belive it might have a delay of a second or so, but in my case nothing happens after pressing the buttons. I think I will open it up to check the buttons but this for sure it will void...

Turnigy 9x buttons not working (menu, exit, +, -, up, down)
Hello to everyone, I'm new to this RC hobby, today I received the radio and in the beggining I though everything is ok, the first thing I did was to connect it to my PC using audio 3,5 jack to play with it in FMS, this was very easy (it was much harder to keep the multicopter hovering more than a fe...
