Re: Speech to sound converter
I'm having a heck of a time using the Open Tx Speaker. I see where the newly created file is saved on the left side of the screen, but it's nowhere to be found on my computer. Does anyone know how to get the file on the left side of the speaker program to save to the SD card? It is nowhere on my mac...

What is the process to save a file with the Open Tx Speaker?
I'm searching around for an answer, but thought I would ask here.
Thanks

Got it.

Thanks

I'm thinking about updating one of my two Tarani to 2.08
Is there a reason the file is not listed here --> http://www.open-tx.org/downloads.html#Releases-ref
I understand to use Companion, but the site leads you to believe the file should be there.
Thanks
Bob

Thanks Scott
I don't want to be accused of hijacking the thread, and I mentioned that I'd start a separate one,
but isn't the intent to play the "modelname" AT startup?

On page 10 of this thread G550TED posted the instruction listed below. I'm hoping he's still around to help me with the set switch to "ONE" statement. I can't figure that out. Set a Custom Function and make it the first "Play Track" CF that you program. Set switch to "ONE&qu...

Thanks for the file. I had your link from a bit ago but work has been busy and I haven't had a chance to take a look at it yet. I've been thinking about something.
What are the chances of using the right slider to adjust the amount of elevator compensation/weight needed in these mixes when the rudder is deflected?
Sort of an adjustment that can be done while I'm flying.
Attached is a basic model with the mix.
Thanks

Using the Left Slider as Throttle Trim
I'll give that some thought.
So using "Replace" won't work?
I'm slowly understanding some of the logic of the system, but as expected it takes time.
What's more helpful to a Taranis user;
Math Skills
Programming Skills,
or just knowledge of the system?
Thanks again

I made the changes to my model and it works perfectly. I didn't mention that there are also three throttle curves in my set up, but that didn't make a difference. What is the rule on using an open channel for a mix versus putting the mix in the main line in the Mixer screen? Thank you again kind sir...

I currently use the JR 9503.
By "official adapter" I'm guessing I just plug the same adapter I use now to the back of the Taranis 1/8
phone jack slot, yes?
Thank you Mister Wizard!

I am used to using the left slider as my throttle trim on my JR 9503. I would like to add the LS as my throttle trim on the Taranis to act like the "IC Throttle Trim" option in the menu. I was able to add the slider but; (1) The slider doesn't kick in until after the slider is at center tr...

Thank you to everyone for the suggestions. GOHST Your mixes work great. I chose the non linear route to have some flexibility. I settled on Custom 9 point curves as they are convenient at 0 25 50 100 which makes it easier to estimate where to put the adjustments in the curves. The only down side to ...

Re: Receiver match
Thanks Mike.
I understand that, but with the other system I use, it is not possible
to fly any other model with the same bound receiver, no matter what.
I know it's kind of unlikely to make that kind of mistake with this
system, but just to know it's possible is what I was after.
Take care

There will be a time when maybe I can reduce the tremendous load on everyone here that helps out, and actually
be able to help out myself.
It's great work that you do, often with no appreciation or thanks.

Hello I have a new X8R and I can select any model in my "Model Selection" menu and operate it with the same receiver by selecting that receiver in the "Model Setup" page. This would allow me to make a mistake by using the wrong model setup to fly the wrong plane if I'm not paying...

I think that is supposed to refer to if left rudder yields left aileron(bank) swap the weight to get right aileron(bank).

Guys, I get the part about flying and mixing. I've been in the hobby since 1976, been to Iraq flying UAV's, and am still in the UAV industry. I'll reiterate and say that I am doing all of this on the bench. I have not flown the radio or put it in a model yet. I put some servos on a board and I'm wor...
