Sorry, I was not specific.I have 9xR pro so I can use 400K.
I want only for TX(9XR pro)and RX (multi) side.
Bottom pin will remain at normal telemetry rate (for the moment as we don't use so high telemetry rate anyway).
I want to move multi rx serial code to DMA and do some tests.
thanks.

Re: ErskyTx Test Versions
Hi Mike.
One question,
Does erskyTX/9XR supports higher baud rate serial comm. with multi?
I want in the near future to increase the comm. speed to 400K on multi and do some testing.
If so maybe you can make a version test or a stable version with selection(100k;400k) baudrate.

My next project will be this one.

I already bought the parts.I will use a 4.5Kg-cm(torque) servo-26 grams .A pancake stepper motor 2.5 kg-cm is over 200grams

Re: Frsky updates
If was about diy protocol not the original. The original you cannot flash it on a clone. JUMPER_R8 is 95% pin out compatible with X8 ,which is an imperfect clone. yes I can flash my firmware to an X8R. Give me one and I will prove it to you.Mike flashed it own firmware to D8R and D4r. If you do you c...

Re: Frsky updates
I start thinking that Frsky might shot themselves on the foot big time with new version. Let's say we take old D16/LBT that frsky just "abandoned"(honestly I like it a lot for different reasons than what was presented). And we modify like you said HW crc and data whitening, what comes out is...

Re: Frsky updates
Frsky would not like that mainly because any new protocol will end up in Jumper T16.If MPM was " alone" they would not bother much. If we give support for DIY rx new protocol, Frsky is loosing a lot while Jumper is gaining a lot,for free. There were reports that DIY RX perform better that ...

Re: Frsky updates
You are taking about a new protocol or frskyV2?If you add on MPM and a DIY RX data whitening + HW CRC it is like new protocol but I think will not be compatible with Frsky V1 or V2.I need to test that. That can be done very easy.Frksy will not like that for sure. The problem is that I have no interes...

Re: Frsky updates
For security reasons yes it is weak. Yes the communication over the air is not secure. That was not the intention. There is no point to encrypt data in order to avoid a potential enemy or a person with nefarious intentions to find out what we send over the air. This is RC world. You can send valid data ...

Re: Frsky updates
Crc is not ingenious by itself , is the fact that is calculated in TX sent to rx and checked in rx after the packet is received. That is ingenious for me I'm a simple guy. Your calculation does't say how the bit may change and what is the probability to change and what is the probability that the mod...

Re: Frsky updates
Mike. I remind you that the CRC on frsky is not calculated in Rx is calculated in TX and sent as data in the packet frame. The crc is reconstructed in RX from packet bytes received and checked against the crc bytes again received in the same packet. If they are coming erroneous the frame is discarded....

Re: Frsky updates
I believe the problem is with the new line of TX and RX probably used different hardware and different software.
I would like to hear if somebody recorded the same problem with an TX with XJT module and an old X4R or X8R rx.

Re: Frsky updates
Let me tell you something that may appear shocking to you.I believe that crc system used by Frsksy cannot fail in these conditions.Yes the HW CRC used by ccc2500 can fail but not the one used by frsky. Re: Frsky updates
I was discussing the problem with lockouts with original TX/RX.And I suggested a test with an original TX and a diy rx to see of those lookouts occurred again. And to prove that new crc and a consequence as a complete alteration of the original code( basically new firmware) is not necessary. And you ...

Re: Frsky updates
I think this heated debate of FrSky versus Jumper/clones is because people are invested too much emotionally with a product. They care. When a person close to you do something that upsets you ,you feel betrayed. That is because you put that person(or a product) on a pedestal and when the image you ha...

Hopping sequence is determined at the session start with the 6-th byte(packet no5) in the packet. That byte is sent on every frame. If that byte become corrupted(wrongly calculated by tx or rx,or other reasons that I fail to see now ) ,the rx will jump on different channel with the wrong sequence and ...

Re: Frsky updates
It is possible some interference but I don't think the lockout here was from the tx frequency offset. Let me explain. The lockout here means that 100 frames were lost(0.9 sec),In the hopping frequency system that means the rx was passing over all channels 2 times(jumping on the next channel every 9 m...

Carbo, My DIY RX is tuned closer to the base frequency that tx put out(theoretically in +/- 210 khz deviation). If the tx base frequency is lower or higher with 40Khz the DIY rx is tuned automatically to that.As long as the offset is constant the RX don't care. As a side note Mike added in his code o...

Re: Frsky updates
I don't see how bad data can creep through by itself. There is one more level(aside CRC) to root out bad data or incomplete. One is reading the number of bytes in RXFIFO register. That is red twice(as per CC2500 errata notes) to root out reading errors. After the data is red there are 3 other checks for...

Re: Frsky updates
CC2500 X-tal frequency drift with temperature may happen(and happened with poor quality X-tals) and if happened it will worsen and the rx will not recover. The lockout is limited in time and rx recovered .I don't think the lockout is caused by a frequency drift.

Re: Frsky updates
Here is another log from Juergen with a documented lockout with ACCST pre2.0. Eventually combined with an unintended roll command, if you look at the pilot's reaction with aileron (blue), but it may also be a coincidence. It took 8 months to find a pilot with an affected TX and the ability to build...

Yes if you manually modify the config files it compiles ok.

Yes the configurator output files should not define something that is not selected. that is one problem. But I think those 2 lines are confusing #if defined(AN_ADS1115_IS_CONNECTED) && (AN_ADS1115_IS_CONNECTED == YES) #if defined(ARDUINO_MEASURES_A_CURRENT) && (ARDUINO_MEASURES_A_CUR...
