Re: MasterRadio TX16S
Finally fumbled around long enough and got ersky loaded into the radio. Finally had a pane offering to extract the files, did so and viola! Now to see how similar it is to er9x, but that will be tomorrow. Could only get the radio connected via USB from bootloader. Why was that needful every time? Th...

Well, gave it a go, and here's what I got.
Could someone help me, please? Would really like to get over to erSKY.
edit: I got the pictures in reverse order somehow.

Re: MasterRadio TX16S
I have eePe, eePeSKY and Companion all on my computer. Models and settings had already been backed up. TX not connected to computer. Double click on tx16s_rom.bin after downloading it to my computer opens epee, but it is not found in the file list when "Flash Firmware to TX" is selected. T...

Re: MasterRadio TX16S
I have tried to love the OpenTX in my RM TX16S but do not care for it. I have experience with er9x in the Turnigy 9x and am very glad to hear that a similar firmware is available for the TX16S. I have eePesky and OpenTX Companion installed on my computer. So, the analog guy in a digital world questi...

Re: Trim settings go away
Well, I wish I could report that as a result of some determined sleuthing I solved the case of the disappearing trim settings, but I cannot. Wearied of making comparisons between the model setups and Model 13 to no avail, so I just deleted all 3 and built new ones with the same throttle cut/throttle...

Re: Trim settings go away
I'll compare the setups for Model 13 and the others to see if I can determine a cause.
I seems my thinking fell short on this one.

Re: Trim settings go away
Correct on all points with the following exceptions: I have never seen a flashing light in the upper left of the display that you mentioned. I realized that I had not tried throttle trim as I never use it, I set idle with an offset and kill the engine with a throttle cut. At any rate, throttle trim ...

Trim settings go away
Study of the new Er9x Manual 2015 (so glad to have this) nor searches have revealed an answer to my question, so here we go. Version V1.2432-Mike in a Turnigy 9x using an OrangeRX DIY DSM2 module. Trim settings entered while flying the model all reset to zero when the Transmitter is powered off/on. ...

Re: er9x development
Here is a little section of the new er9x manual. The mixer.. This will probably still have a few changes done to it.. But I'm posting it because of the "Use Output" explanation.. The new manual will be ready soon.. Me and Nigel are doing our best to release it as soon as possible.. João C...

In the short term, use this link and "view raw file", then "save as".

Re: Another newb needs help.
As regards the cross application of trims I learned some things: 1. Cross trim transfers trim settings to the opposite stick. Never heard of such a thing, but on reflection I can see how it might be handy. 2. Although cross trim was not selected in my eePe document I dowloaded, it was ON in the radi...

Re: Another newb needs help.
I think I've got the backlight deal figured. I didn't fully comprehend that the option for "Light Off After" would turn on the backlight if any value other than 'Off" were entered. I got lucky setting the backlight control the way I wanted by trying various combinations of settings w/...

Another newb needs help.
Hello to all. I got into parkfklyer size electric fixed wing 4 years ago using a DX5e. Put a Turnigy 9x w/OrangeRX DSM2 diy module into service about 6 months ago. Flew with it for about 3 months, then went the smartieparts/ER9X/eePe route about 3 months ago. So, I'm not very far up the learning cur...
