Thanks for your reply and help Kilrah.
My X12s is one of the first production batch after the beta programme.
The module firmware has been stable with no issues.
I will go ahead and upgrade to OpenTX 2.2.1.

Re: Horus x12s update
Thanks for your reply Kilrah. My X12s was one of the first of the main production (not beta) and I immediately changed to OpenTX. I had read somewhere (and I cannot find the thread now) that there was an antennae warning problem with some radios when upgrading to 2.2.1 depending on which version of ...

Horus x12s update
My Horus X12s is currently running on OpenTX 2.2.0N362.
I would like to upgrade to OpenTX 2.2.1 but I have read somewhere there are problems with this upgrade.
Can anyone confirm if this upgrade is stable or not?
Thanks for any advice.

Original Taranis to OpenTX 2.2
I have an original Taranis (one of the first that came into the UK) and currently it is running on Opentx - r2940.
Can I change the firmware to the latest 2.2.1 directly or do I need to go through some intermediate steps?
Thanks for any advice.

Re: Module problem
Problem fixed!
Both X9D's are running on 3s Lipo's.
Changing to the stock 7.2 Nimh battery fixes the problem.
I guess that's why the Horus running the stock battery at 9.6V is OK.
Strange as the Bangood module quotes the operating voltage of 5-14V.
Thanks for your help.

Re: Module problem
Thanks for your reply Showmaster. More information below. My old Taranis X9D (one of the first batch into the UK) is on Opentx firmware r-2940. My newer Taranis X9D is on Opentx firmware 2.2.0. Neither of these transmitters has ever had a module fitted until I tried this multi module recently. Both ...

Module problem
I seem to have a problem trying to operate any module in 2 Taranis transmitters. If I plug a multi protocol module or a DM9 Spectrum module into either of the 2 Taranis transmitters I have on powering up,the transmitters get stuck in a loop announcing welcome to open TX. If I plug either of the modu...

Multi protocol module with Taranis problem
Hi After installing the Bangood multiprotocol module in the Taranis I get this strange behaviour. When switching on the Taranis gets stuck in a loop announcing welcome to open TX. After some time the Taranis then fires up correctly and I am able to use the module. Does anyone have any idea what the ...

Taranis Plus vario reading milliamps
My friend has a Taranis Plus and when it is connected to a vario it announces milliamps rather than feet or metres.
Has anyone else had this issue?
Thanks

Open TX Wizard
I have converted my Taranis to Open TX 2.0.15 and loaded Open TX companion on to my desktop. Open TX companion has the model wizard working correctly but I can't seem to get it to work on the Taranis. I have followed the instructions on Scott Page's excellent video - downloaded the zip file, extract...

Re: FRSKY varios problem
Hi Rob
Thanks for your reply.
I am currently running open tx-r2940 which I think was the last update before changing to Opentx 2.
Is this the firmware update you mean? If so do you recommend updating the internal RF module. Do you think this will fix the problem?
Steve

FRSKY varios problem
A friend and I are having problems with FRSKY variometers locking up whilst in use. We have updated the firmware on the varios and on our X8R receivers and still the varios lock and give the same altitude reading after about 30 second or so in the air. The strange thing is that I bench ran an update...

Will open TX automatically redirect us to new Taranis updates on GitHub or do will we have to log in to a different server to obtain updates?

Help with thermal and speed flap
Can anyone help me add thermal and speed offsets to this Taranis EEEPE. This is the problem I have; I can couple flaps to ailerons using switch C but if I add a further mix say to a flap on CH5 then all flap and aileron surfaces work together regardless of where I put the additional mix with the fla...

V8FRII Binding issues
I have always been able to bind my V8FRII receivers to my Taranis without using the bind plug on the RX.
Today I have noticed that the receivers will not bind without the bind plug being used.
Is this due to a firmware update?
Any suggestions?
Thanks

Re: Taranis / Companion 9x problem
I am still having problems with the Taranis. I am unable to read or write any EPROMs.
Companion 9X software is not able to see the Taranis TX as my previous post.
TX is switched on before attaching the USB cable.
Any suggestions would be most welcome.
