Re: STM32 F2 prozessor ADC with 10, 11 or 12 bit
Helle, The Jeti ds-16 doesn't have any ADC and analog potis either, because it uses an absolute encoder based on Hall effect sensor. Sent from my GT-P3110 using Tapatalk 2 Incorrect. Jeti DOES use Hall effect sensors, but reads the output of those using an ADC same as if normal pots were used. The ...

Re: Want the timer to count every second from 30seconds to z
Just a little work yourself can give any timer you want. Find or record a track of 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 Set custom functions to 'play track 987 when timer = 29 and 19 The built in timer will kindly count the 30, 20 and 10,9,8... and your custom track and functions will fill in the rest. How har...

Next question is: at what (low) voltage does Taranis quit working or go flaky? I have run mine down to 5.9V but did ot take it any lower at the time as I just wanted to recharge and keep playing. Since then I have just kept playing...

Re: Standard Glider Templates
There are compensated v-tail mixes listed in the forum that you could add to your model setup, and simple v-tail mix is EASY. Just mix both elevator and rudder into both v-tail channels. 70% would be a good place to start, but mix ratios can be adjusted as necessary.

Re: Trainer switch - push to break, or push to make
I would still consider replacing switch E or F with a 3 pos on/off/mom switch. I intend to find such and do so to my Taranis some time in the near future. This would allow the momentary switch on the left side with no additinal holes in the case. Nice thing of OpenTx is that any switch can be progra...

If he was flying low and slow then ground impact would not have been far from the point where the engine quit. I have the same problem. I created several model setups in Companion9x 1.27 for Taranis and since I upgraded Companion9x to 1.28 I get the EEPROM error. Nothing critical, as I do not have an actual Taranis yet, but when I do this type of nuisance would become a big problem!

Re: Frsky FAS-100 restarts at 0 after hitting 600 watts?
Yes, rescale the reading. For a 100 amp sensor I see little need for .1 watt resolution and almost no need for .01 watt resolution. Is this a sensor firmware change or TX firmware change? I have been considering the FAS-100 for at least one plane that I have and it runs about 1200 watts full throttl...

Yes, bips would be adequate. Personally i would prefer a vocal countdown but just having a final countdown either voice or bips is far more important that which type. Idea. if the countdown is bips, how about the 5 count be two bips? this would help insure that you are mentally synched with the coun...

Re: Count Down timer "bips"
I would like a countdown as described. The final countdown should not have the units announced (10 seconds, 9 seconds, 8 seconds...) but only the digits (10, 9, 8...). You might add a 15 second announcement too - 30 seconds, 20 seconds, 15 seconds, 10, 9, 8... I think that this is a common timing mo...

That is why it would be a selectable option in the servos menu. Either center + (null|mix|stick trim) or an additional field - center, subtrim, add (null|mix|stick trim).

Maybe an option to tie the servo center to a stick trim so that stick trim adjustments modify (add to) the servo center.

Re: Full Servo throw with trims off the center?
I see this as an issue of conflating the two separate terms of 'endpoints' and 'limits'. As set in the outputs or servos menu - whatever it is called in the version in use - I want to see LIMITS beyond which the servo WILL NOT travel, because to do so would run into some physical limit, be it the se...

Default channel order is primarily a convenience tool so that you so not have to go in and reset the channel order for every channel every time you create a new model. Not critical to operation but very nice when it is working properly.

With Custom Switches you could make the right stick emulate 8 switches - not just up down left right, but the corners too. Set up functions where CS triggers with stick X and Y positions near the limits and/or neutral.

I don't care for the Blaaack case, but the shape is good. Re: Hackability, buses, serial ports?
I am curious as to the ease or difficulty of installing a rotary encoder in Taranis. Could it go in through the serial port? Would it be better to solder to some free lines on the processor? Is the firmware ready for an encoder or is this not intrgrated into the Taranis flavor of OpenTx (yet)? Yes I...
