What is this? Sometimes it is zero, sometimes it is 4.

Re: Add 6 pos. switch to early Taranis
Bertran35: I am confused (easily it seems). What release of OpenTX 2.0 are you referring to? On this page: https://github.com/opentx/opentx/releases/tag/RELEASE-r2923 the "latest" release is 2923. On my Taranis the release is: r-2940 dated 14/2/2 Any clarifications would be appreciated...

Re: C9X: Can I set weight beyond minus 100% ?
Extended limits in preferences then set throttle to minus 120% and problem persists.
Flight controller is APM 2.6, however the problem appeared after changing ESCs, so it looks like I will either have to reprogram them or go back to old ESCs.

C9X: Can I set weight beyond minus 100% ?
I have a quad where the ESC and motors start even with full bottom trim on the throttle.
Can the C9X limits be set or forced below minus 100% ?
Is there some other work-around without re-programming the ESCs?
Also, what does GV mean in the dialog box?
Any and all help appreciated...

Re: WIN8 Taranis not reading EEPROM with Companion9x
0. C9X can be on or off for the following two steps. 1. Turn on Taranis, clear all warnings, get main screen 2. Plug Taranis into USB port on computer. Wait for chimes - this can take a few seconds. You will see two pop up windows that you can ignore. 3. Best to read eeprom first, modify settings, t...

Add 6 pos. switch to early Taranis
Here is a DIY way to add a 6 position switch to an early model Taranis. This idea was inspired by others and someone may have already done this, but here is what I did and it works fine. I do not have any pix or specs, but here is the schematic. I replaced S1 with my switch, but this should work by ...

Re: Firmware version
I currently have firmware ver. 2834 on Taranis. C9X ver. 1.92 says that this is the latest version.
However, GIT hub is showing 2923 as latest version by Kilrah.
question 1: why is C9X not showing latest version?
question 2: Is there any way to force C9X or manually load latest version?
Thanks,

Re: "impossible to identify radio on your system..."
I want to isolate the problem and I am trying to uninstall C9x 1.52 ver 2381 on Win 8.
Using the control panel, I cannot locate the program companion 9x or C9x in order to uninstall it.
The installer offers no option to uninstall.
How do I uninstall C9x?

Are there other frequency modules for Taranis?
What other RF options are there besides 2.4 GHz?
Is it possible to use an older JR 72MHz module and matching Rx (assuming one could adapt an antenna and match supply voltages)?
Has anyone experimented with this possibility?

This is a method that worked for me. I hope that it works for you. 1. Move mouse to the upper right hand corner of screen to view the "Charms bar" fly out window. 2. Quickly select "Settings" at the bottom of the window. If you wait too long, the Charm bar will disappear and you ...

Thanks for rapid response! In C9x preferences, I did set (stick) mode to mode 2. When I look at the Mixer screen on 9xr, the mode shows 01234 on a black background. Do I manually have to set the mode for each channel? I would expect that this would be done by C9x. What screen shows the actual (stick...
