Re: How to use theFrSky Xact servo LUA script on the QX7 ACCST?
Apparently the S2F.PORT converter is the only way to do it in the ACCST radio, rather complex. Luckily got the converter free. However, servos will be used for the sbus only setup to keep simple.

How to use theFrSky Xact servo LUA script on the QX7 ACCST?
I seem to be unable to run the Xact servo LUA script correctly on the QX7 ACCST. I just need to change the sbus channel of the HV5101. No matter how I do it, all I get is an error message: Script syntax error ?:0 attempt to index a nil va... The LUA script is available here: https://www.frsky-rc.com...

Re: Adjustable PPM out pins
I had the ersky9x on this tx before Bertrand fixed the resolution problem with the Aurora sticks. On simulator use it's does not matter if it's opentx or ersky9x, all I need is ability adjust the PPM frame to get channels correctly out. I did install the SAM-BA 3.0 and eePskye and got the "Tx D...

Re: Adjustable PPM out pins
So, which PPM out is affected by the settings on: SETUP/Port1 or Port 2? I can't see any effect on module PPM. The firmware is r2923 and I seem to be not able to upgrade it, getting "disk not mounted error".
I certainly could adjust the trainer port frame earlier with the stock 9x board.

Adjustable PPM out pins
Hello, Converted my old Sky9x protoseries board for a simulator by powering it from USB cable (Multiplex USB simulator interface). Works fine except seems that I can't adjust the PPM frame as the interface appears to be picky about resulting overlapping channels. I'm taking PPM out from the module P...

Re: Stick gain not working on Sky9x with Aurora sticks
Ok, the r2923 gives now about 1030 step resolution with stick gain value 2. The servo movement is signifiqantly smoother when moving the stick slowly now. Takes me back to openx bandwagon altough ersky9x seems to be getting better all the time for the sky9x board.

Stick gain not working on Sky9x with Aurora sticks
Hello, There is no difference on stick resolution with Aurora sticks if the gain is set 1 or 2. I got around 520 steps (as example A1 in hex: 0317 to 0520) for full stick movement at both gain settings. Ersky9x gives about 1040 steps with same hardware. System info: ersky9x rev.B (prototype series) ...

Re: ORX T-Six transmitter
Guess "easy" is relative. Looking at the effort required to properly port, debug and support the firmware to the Taranus and Sky9X boards.... 6 months of effort? Quite allot for little gain.  Given that the ATMEGA 128 is already supported and directly related to ATMEGA ...

Running Sky9x board without 9x back and switch boards
Hello, I've been running the Sky9x board on other cases and so far I've stuffing all the stuff inside, icluding the back and switch/buzzer board. The result is quite horrible looking mess, it works but a PITA to install/adjust. Now, I'd like to make cleaner installation without back and switch board...

Re: openX9D
The issue I see here is how you present this to the user, and how this is reflected in the mix screen. In reality you can achieve exactly what you describe easily with a slave / ghost channel. Or even gvars. All done in one place, one screen easy. Guess I can't visualise quite how you would do this...
Re: openX9D
As example a camber function for a 4 servo wing would be a function which allows mixing of any freely selectable 4 outputs with any freely selectable inputs. In addition this funtion could allow elevator compensation on same screen, input and output curves with adjusting possibility, delays. Of cour...
Re: openX9D
To put in a set of predefined mixes that do a specific glider function.. well that would require servos to be mapped to specific channels, and hard rules to be followed. Nope, because the function itself is virtual, the inputs and outputs can be mapped anywhere. The result.. less flexibility. Exact...
Re: openX9D
So, openTX and er9x are like they are.., People have to read the manuals and learn how to work with them.. Please take a look back, just in a year the open9x/opentx has improved considerably particularly in the terms of glider functions, so I don't see it as something which is as it is but somethin...
Re: openX9D
It doesn't have anything to do with his question of course, but it has about flexibility. You've been mentioning that 32 mixers on the 9x wasn't enough for your complex gliders - In the type of models I've had to program where none of the T14's predefined mixes helped me I only had the 8 simultaneo...
Re: openX9D
Open9x ams er9x are firmwares that work in a different way go other radios. Very different. Then goal of the firmware is not to simply emulate another radios way of working. My point is that if you understand the programming structure of the both systems, high end Futabas and th9x based firmwares, ...
Re: openX9D
That's OK when you have "standard" models with the well known functions, and can use the camber mix, butterfly, Airbrake to Elevator and other predefined mixes. But then when you get out of the "standards" you're SOL. So far I have been able to everything needed for my gliders o...
Re: openX9D
Having done large number of 4 wing servo gliders on both systems (FX-30, 12FG and 12Z on Futaba side and er9x, ersky9x and various open9x/openTX versions with stock, gruvin and sky9x boards) I say that both systems are capable to do pretty much everything needed but setting up is currently by far fa...

Re: No Model restore on existing Model
The menu system is indeed problematic because the confirmation of deleting or restoring is done by repeating the same push of menu or encoder button as choosing deleting/restoring, in other words, if you accidentally push button twice, the accident has already happened. IMHO, the correct way should ...

Re: ORX T-Six transmitter
Well, the pots are missing but otherwise 6ch is enough for the foamies and things like elevator and differential adjusting can be done with the roller. Original firmware is good enough for 2 servo wing with conventional tail altough adjusting possibilities are limited. However, looks like very limit...
