Re: ERSky9X on 9XR Pro
Thanks John, I got it to bind. The COM setting were right where you said they would be. After the COM settings were correct, it still wouldn't bind. After much fiddling around I disabled the internal module and it bound. Interestingly, there is no internal module in the radio. Another model didn't r...

Thanks João, Update successful with ERSky9XR r221. ORX Internal module with telemetry setup on 4-1`5-18: It worked great to get the module setup. Thanks for the guidance. ERSky9X on 9XR Pro
I just flashed my 9XR Pro with ERSky9X r221. The flashing went smoothy and it seems to be working just fine. I have some questions about the radio set up. I'm using the HK OrangeRX 2.4Ghz Telemetry Module For Turnigy 9XR Pro. This is a telemetry module. I'm having trouble finding setup as the module...

Startup Error Message
When I start eepeSKYe, I get a popup box that says: Read Revision = 1. There are two popup boxes. It doesn't matter if the TX is connected or not. See attachment.
On a separate matter, for some reason I cannot seem to DN load a aircraft file to the TX. I can read them.
I'm running Win 7 64 Bit.

Re: 9XR PRO - eePeSKY
Solved, thanks to Mike and João. I got a nice firm handshake from the PC to TX. I copied the EPROM edited it and sent it back to the TX for my first airplane edit. This was a learning experience.

Re: 9XR PRO - eePeSKY
Gentlemen, It looks like more progress. Thank you for your help. I would like to report that eepeskye was able to read the TX file. I was able to get the model simulator to work, but I could not control the simulator from the TX. I don't know if this is normal. It was interesting because eepe would ...

Re: 9XR PRO - eePeSKY
Eepeskye starts with a message: Read Revision = 1, but it does start. On the Burn menu, under the gear icon, the Use Samba is not checked. Even when the drive letters appeared the TX stayed in the connecting mode. Is this normal? Note: rebooting the computer with the with the computer connected to t...

Re: 9XR PRO - eePeSKY
So I couldn't stop without one more try. I closed all of the windows on my computer, started the TX Boot Loader, plugged in the USB and to my surprise, I got two windows USB connections and two Windows Explorer windows popped up asking if I wanted to view files. I closed them and reopened Explorer a...

Re: 9XR PRO - eePeSKY
Mike, I installed the Boot Loader per your instructions. I wound up with V1.6. I'm not sure what happened. However, it seems to be acting better. It stays in the connecting mode. V1.1 would time out after about a minute. It is pretty compelling there is a USB driver and or a timing issue. Most likel...

What we have here is a failure to communicate. I'm struggling to get my 9XR PRO to communicate to the eePeSky Program. At first I started a thread in the hardware section for this computer. This is the link: http://openrcforums.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=123&t=7788 I have cleaned up and removed a...

Re: 9XR Pro - eepsky
I just tried a different USB port, and the computer saw the TX and assigned a drive letter, but the TX kept trying to connect with the message SD Card xxxx (can't remember). After a period of time the TX turned on. I will remove Jasic After Shot and reset the SD card and try again.

Re: 9XR Pro - eepsky
Mike, thanks for the reply. When I hold the rudder and aileron trims together and turn the TX on, I see the boot loader, then I plug the USB in and the TX connects to the PC (I hear the windows connect sound). After the connection is made the TX screen says: "USB". The first time I did the...

HK250 w/ 9xr PRO- Solicting Comments
I'm finishing up the build and hoping someone can save me some time. The 9xr is new to me, but I was using open9x on my 9x xmitter. 9xr is running ERskyXR v204 software. I'm trying to figure out the servo connections at the receiver. It is an OrangeRx module and 6 CH Rx. The radio setup Channel Orde...

I'm a little stumpted, maybe someone can help. I have a Gruvin9x v4.2 board with the speaker, SD & usb mods. It seems to be working OK except the rotary encoders. I'm running open9x. Did I miss something during the software setup. It is my understanding the rotary encoders should allow quicker s...

I have the white Hobbyking backlight. The difference between the front and back is not apparent. It appears to have white plastic on both sides. Is there a front or back? Do the plastic covers stay with the light or do I remove them?

New TX Antenna 9x V2
I would like to move the antenna from the top of the transmitter to the back of the standard Turnigy RF module. I have seen some YoueTube videos. They have always used the original TX antenna. These installations just don't look clean. I have the V2 TX with the coax running through the back of the T...
