Re: ERSKYTx (was ersky9x) Questions

It’s been some time since I’ve been on here and I hope I’m posting in right place. Currently I’m version 221 ersky9x on extreme board. Does version 223 erskytx now support 900mhz modules by certain manufacturers. I see 221 version had crossfire protocol. Is there a recommended module for the jr mod...

Re: ERSKYTx (was ersky9x) Questions

New test version for all radios with Lat and Long available on custom telemetry screens (including the colour high resolution screens). This includes a new telemetry value called "Sats". eepskye.exe also updated to use these. Sats is set by Crossfire and ARDUx telemetry, ARDUx still puts ...

Re: ERSKYTx (was ersky9x) Questions

Thank you for all suggestion! And for the new test version, will test it tomorrow. I completely forgot about inav script, I've already used it with FrSky and it works fine, but after I've switched to ELRS it stopped working (as I understand because of different names of Xfire telemetry sensors) So y...

Re: ERSKYTx (was ersky9x) Questions

Thank you for your reply, Mike! Perfect, will be waiting for the new test version. Because I can't arm the drone without GPS Lock and could check number of Sats only at the OSD of my googles. Thank you for you suggestion about GPS format, didn't know about that. And few more question :) , is it poss...

Re: ERSKYTx (was ersky9x) Questions

Hi Mike! I have 2 questions about telemetry: 1) Is it possible to add Sensor "Sats"(number of GPS satellites) to CRSF protocol? I am using AR9X board with ELRS and inav on my Flight Controller This is part of the code from inav related to GPS in CRSF telemetry: 0x02 GPS Payload: int32_t La...

Re: ErskyTx on X20

I'm close to having a script working for ELRS V2. I have a couple of small bugs with running the script on the X20, it is running OK on a X9LiteS. Mike :o Wow! This is great news, I check this thread very often in the hope of seeing a working script for Elrs v2 from you :) . If you need help with t...

Re: ErskyTx on X20

For ELRS v1.X.X I used this script and it worked without problems https://github.com/ExpressLRS/ExpressLRS/tree/master/src/basic It is written by @spinorkit You discussed questions about ELRS with him in this thread https://openrcforums.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=4&start=2160 About ELRS v...

Re: ErskyTx on X20

I haven't got LUA support in (yet). I am, however, looking to see if I can get ELRS configuration support built in to erskyTx. Mike Hi Mike! This is great news! I use AR9X with ELRS, of course with your help. But starting from ELRS v2.0 I don't have the option to change the settings because the old...

Re: ERSKYTx (was ersky9x) Questions

I am using R9 + R9M with ERLS at Turnigy 9X with AR9X board inside and ERSKYTx. Also I have bluetooth module inside my TX and it push all ERLS Telemetry to the Telemetry viewer app. At my drone I am using INAV. FasV showing correct as at OSD. Maybe you have problem with voltage scaler at your flight...

Re: Crossfire telemetry and GPS data

Perfect, thank you names available for all custom sensors! 250mw power also shows correctly. And about power 50mw it's well known bug in Crossfire protocol. I found this quote from one of ELRS developer at ELRS Discord server: We need it as an enum option in the CRSF protocol. Currently it doesn't e...

Re: Crossfire telemetry and GPS data

Wow it was fast :) Everything works! For RSSI I created scaler with offset -256 and now it matches the RSSI values at the OSD One small issue about TX power it shows 0 for 50mw and 250mw. 10mw, 25mw, 100mw, 500mw and 1000mw shown right. And also new sensors from 7 to 10 are present only in the drop-...

Re: Crossfire telemetry and GPS data

It may be possible, but what for? Mike Hi, Mike! Would it be possible to increase the number of custom telemetry fields? After you add XFIRE protocol for AR9X board I am starting experimenting with Express LRS. But ELRS sends 10 custom sensors, one that I needed is TX power (TPWR in OpenTX) Here is...

Re: ERSKYTx (was ersky9x) Questions

I can confirmed that R9 TX Module flashed with ERLS is working on AR9X with diode installed between S.Port and TX1. R9M Module flashed through FlashElrs_atmel.app that Mike posted in the test version thread. After Mike added XFIRE protocol to AR9X I checked it with Crossfire Micro TX it also works b...

Re: CRSF protocol for TBS Crossfire?

WOW! It works, thank you! :o It was not even necessary to solder the inverter, it works just with diode. Сontrol and telemetry :D But I still get an error when running this script from nrw505 And now there's a mostly-working crossfire script at https://github.com/nrw505/ersky9x-crossfire-script Note...

Re: CRSF protocol for TBS Crossfire?

I've attached the schematic for the AR9X board (a .pdf file but zipped up). There is also a.jpg file that shows the header connections. Mike Thank you, Mike! From this schematic I understood that I need to solder 'in' of the inverter to s.port (tp17) and 'out' to TX1 before transistor inverter (tp9...

Re: CRSF protocol for TBS Crossfire?

That only changes eepskye, not the radio itself. Re: CRSF protocol for TBS Crossfire?

Can you build erskyTx from the sources? What test equipment do you have (an oscilloscope for example)? All the Crossfire code is in erskyTx, on the AR9X board, it is just the menu that doesn't let you select it. The AR9X board needs testing to see if the hardware will work with Crossfire or whether...

Re: CRSF protocol for TBS Crossfire?

Crossfire uses what is normally the telemetry signal (bottom pin of the module connector) in a bi-directional mode at 400Kbaud. The AR9X board doesn't directly support bi-directional operation on this signal. It is possible to combine the Tx signal with the Rx signal, by using a diode, and this wor...
