Re: MasterRadio TX16S

Hi - I will be joining the 'RM gang' soon. ( so far I was ' holding on tight ' to my good old FlySky 9X , thanks to Mike's multiple and patient updates of the er9x firmware for it ). Hopefully the new TX16S should be delivered to me next week. Apparently they now come flashed with EdgeTx so as to ta...

Re: Q: troubleshooting 9x m128 green - in flight 'power-on THR check' + low voltage

At some point though, by appplying lower amounts of force, possibly on the lower right corner of the plastic case of the...

Q: troubleshooting 9x m128 green - in flight 'power-on THR check' + low voltage

Hi all I had an in-flight issue today, during my third flight, the airplane became unresponsive to my stick inputs, so I raised the Tx over my head, no luck, then shortly afterwards I heard a familiar beep, so I next I looked at the display, it was showing "warning throttle not idle" like ...

telemetry baud rates / Protocol+UsrProto choices & arduP

I did some experiments with two OrangeRx 433Mhz 1w modules : - first with UltimateLRS 2.36 firmware (https://openrcforums.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=13430) - then, as the licence expired, I tried more recently with OpenLRSng 3.8.5 Gitsly firmware In both cases I had a Mavlink connection betwe...

Re: ArduP screen displaying/processing of GPS status & other Telem data (from Arduino/APMmavlink2Frsky)

Ok so Flysky AFDHS2A or Frsky DJT will report, as long as there is a powered receiver, the Tx RSSI. And a full Tx bar means good. whereas FrskyXJT/ D16 will report, even if the receiver is not powered ( because it does not matter), the SWR of the Tx. And an empty bar means good. Here on my pics it l...

R-XSR has both SBUS and S-Port, you connect those 2 to the FC. No need for F-Port. Ok thanks Kilrah. I have never used Sbus before as I had no S-bus compatible device so far; and I had missed it in the Ardupilot help. I understand now! Yes this is real , and well this looks complicated to me at least, - I decided to give it a go without changing the bootloader , as STM32 is reputedly hard to brick - First in arduino IDE I got an update notification that the 4-in-1 board definition was lagging (1.1.8 vs 1.2.2), so I updated it.
