Re: Ersky9x Bug Reporting

I've just posted a new test version that should fix using a logical switch as a mix source. flashed the new x9e_romP3r224.bin and now that LA logical Switch I use for Armed state does work as expected when used as a source in the MIXER. thx for the fix. makes the MIXER screed easier to grok at a gl...

on my X9E running x9e_romP1r224.zip using LA as the source with switch as --- has no effect regardless of the state of LA, while the recipe of using FULL as the Source and LA as the Switch works as expected.

Works OK for me on a X9LiteS with LA set as a mix source. It should also work with the mix source set to FULL and LA assigned as the switch in the mix. I'm looking at this. thx for looking into the navigation, Mike :metal: another observation.. did ErSkyTX's Logical Switches ever output a value? right now I have 4 Logical Switch combo to implement the ARM function. at the end Logical Switch LA indicates the armed or disarmed state. Mike, the new x9e_romP1r224.zip you posted fixes the cross-wired voice alert -- SD-down now works as expected and the Exit button is now silent like it's supposed to be. thx for the quick fix. here's another observation, if not a bug per se -- when looking at the Radio Setup/DiagSwitch screen, the P...

Re: ERSKYTx (was ersky9x) Questions

I'm still learning how to handle ELRS modules. What is happening appears to be a question after a selection. I need to find out how the script should handle this. Mike, FWIW ELRSv2 talks the same Xfire protocol as `Crossfire.bas` -- ELRSv1 had its own protocol not compatible with Crossfire.lua API....

I've had a quick look at how openTx updates ELRS, I think it is using the SPort signal as half-duplex at 57600 baud. Multi uses the SPort signal for data from multi to the radio and the PPM signal for data to multi. Mike, FYI here's the NV14 Nirvana FlySky-OpenTX-Test-Branch commit for adding Flash...

Re: ERSKYTx (was ersky9x) Questions

Personally, I don't think it is worth changing the timer code to go much below 50 Hz. I don't see any down-side to sending packets at a harmonic of the RF packet rate given it still locks. If the ELRS master does end up supporting 15 Hz on 900 MHz, you could go to 45 Hz perhaps. Mike, what he said ...

OK, I knew this all sounded familiar.. it was @pafleraf over on EdgeTX discord asking me to test ELRS at 25Hz on the T-Lite with ExpressLRS 2.4GHz module: 25Hz gets bumped to 50Hz when I press ENTER I suppose ExpressLRS 900MHz TXen can go all the way down to 15Hz PktRate, while the lowest 2.4GHz can...

Re: ERSKYTx (was ersky9x) Questions

Not sure about 200Hz, I'll look at the code again. The 25Hz is too slow at present. My timer uses a 0.5uS resolution and I alternate between 2.5mS (5000 period) and "the rest". In the case of 25Hz "the rest" is 37.5mS giving a period of 75000, which is too large for a 16 bit tim...

Re: ERSKYTx (was ersky9x) Questions

How long does it take for 25Hz and 50Hz to lock in? Is it too long? With my ELRS 2.4GHz module switching among 150Hz, 250Hz & 500Hz is fast enough not to really notice.. 150Hz to 50Hz gets the offset into 0x2000, then it counts down to and settles in single digit territory same all the other Pk...

Re: ERSKYTx (was ersky9x) Questions

Another test version posted. I probably had a boundary condition where, at 500Hz, I timed out receiving the rate and offset data, so reverted to 250Hz for sending one packet. This could explain losing 2 or 3 packets every second. I'm not sure why changing to 50Hz should lose the connection. Mike, t...
