Re: "Flip" button on Syma X1/WLToys v949
I suggest getting the A7105 module that has the power amp circuitry. For extended range. The modules pulled out of the WLToys transmitters have this circuitry.

Re: "Flip" button on Syma X1/WLToys v949
No, That's a CC2500 module. It's good for SkyArtec and FrSky.
NOT FlySky.
There should be a similar looking module...but with the A7105 chip for the FlySky/Hubsan protocol

Re: "Flip" button on Syma X1/WLToys v949
Try throttle stick full then back to Zero. The v202 series protocol requires that measure. Even with it's stock TX. I wonder if you have to do that operation here? Otherwise, when you switch lipo in the v939. You have to turn off radio and put it in bind mode again. Basically the whole operation. On...

Re: "Flip" button on Syma X1/WLToys v949
On the v939, I believe it's one of those FlySky units that requires rebinding on each startup. And after the bind, you have to cycle the TX power. Leave the lipo in the v939 as is.
You have to do this process everytime. Easy once you are aware of it.

Re: "Flip" button on Syma X1/WLToys v949
Some receiver like the v939, yellow v911 clones, require putting the T9x into binding mode each and everytime. It's a known behavior. The original v911, v929, v949 only needs to be bound once. My observation is the TX does know when the RX has bound/reconnected to it without waiting the full 10secs ...

@Redbrickman:
It's hard to say without knowing how your DX6i is programmed.
I am with you though. Some of these "dumbed" down settings makes it more difficult to fly. Too much of chasing the heli instead of training the fingers to properly control it.

Soft startup via er9x
I have been playing with the mCPX clone, the WLtoys v922. And it's a good helicopter. Well build and it flights good. However, one thing I miss is the soft spoolup feature of the mCPX has built into it's 3in1 firmware. The feature detects when a throttle value occur...like when taking Throttle Hold ...

Didn't I read that you're suppose to spray over primer after a short amount of time? I used to think that I needed to let primer dry and cure like paint. But the opposite it true? Read the direction on the can.

Re: "Flip" button on Syma X1/WLToys v949
Can't wait to get to the bottom of this. Two different manufacturer's transmitter are able to work with each other. It would be grey if we can get the er9x to invoke the functionality of that button. At Crash: On some v949, the flip requires holding down the top right button. That's the reason for t...

BTW, the only thing I can critique about the file is four of the labels are in CMYK black and the other three labels are in RGB black.
It will cause inkjet printers to print the black a little different.
Thanks again.

Re: Custom Spray
@thomas9x That's not correct. If you open the EPS into Photoshop, you should have gotten a dialogue prompt. From there, just change the 72 to 300dpi or whatever you want. And you should get a nice size, printable file. Give it another shot. @nsf Thanks for doing this. It's definitely a project that ...

Re: Curves 0-100
Of course, that's what I'm doing right now. Sitting down with a calculator and converting values over to er9x. I am finding I'm doing that more and more because some of us have converted to brushless on the Nano CP X. We're dialing in the right governor percentage and pitch value. Seems most of the ...

Curves 0-100
Now that more of us are using DSM2 to control our Blade BnF. I find it would be welcome to be able to input curves on a 0-100 scale. Instead of having to manually try to translate the new model's recommended curves over to the -100 to 100 scale that er9x uses.

Re: MCPX spare parts
If you are breaking lots of gears... For spare gears, look into getting the gears from the v929 quad. Should be available for cheap and they should be a direct fit. The v929 is a clone of the mQX. And as I understand it, the mSR, mSR X, mCP X, and mQX all use the same main gear. I am able to fit my ...

I like the idea of muffling the buttons. Thx. When I was a youngster, I found that crevices like the symbols on the buttons, we're prime candidate to be filled in with crayon. Basically, you get a crayon color you like. Rub it back and forth until the inside gets filled. Doesn't have to be completel...
